Coaching plan, period 2 - 2009.
The plan is for Thursdays and Sund
ays coaching for
the period of 23. February to 1. May.

Advanced Group:
Objective: Iron out weaknesses, improve weapons, improve gameplans.
We shall work on our weaknesses, but also work to improve our weapons. We will have to keep on working on the recovery after the strokes, footwork both sideways and in depth, plus loop with curve and loop against loop. The intensity shall be getting even higher during the period, and we need to work with the attitude during our matches, plus how to make, use and adjust a gameplan. The exercises at the table will get even more irregular during the period.
Most of the time you shall use your own strokes/style by adapting the exercises to your style of play.
Again: Remember: Be in time, be prepared to work hard.

- Warm-up at table 10 min
- Weaknesses/weapons with partner 30 min
- Weaknesses/weapons multiball 30 min
- Machtlike with partner 15 min
- Break 10 min
- Matchplay 30 min
- Physical work-out (in venue, included stretching) 15 min

- Weaknesses/weapons with partner 30 min
- Break 5 min
- Weaknesses/weapons multiball 30 min
- Machtlike 25 min
- Physical work-out (in venue, included stretching) 10 min

Intermediate A:
Objective: Iron out weaknesses, improve weapons, learn to use gameplans.
The younger players will continue to improve their strokes and work hard to find their own style and major weapons. Individual weaknesses will be looked into, but still the basic skills like starting position, body-posture and hand-grip can be improved, also the recovery after the strokes and footwork both sideways and in depth. We will improve our serves and returns. The intensity can still improve, and we have to learn to use a more aggressive attitude in our matches.
Remember: Be in time, be prepared to work hard. Concentrate.

Intermediate B:
Objective: Improve strokes and footwork.
We will continue to improve the strokes, and keep on to work on the starting position, body-posture and hand-grip. We will still work hard to improve our footwork and we shall also improve our serves and returns. The intensity will have to improve during this period.
Remember: Be in time, be prepared to work hard. Concentrate.
