Giants - real or just fairy tales?
If I tell people that I am doing a research on giants they tend to laugh. When I say it is not a joke and try to explain they usually cut me short and say it is just fairy tales. Well, under are confirmations from museums, universities and archaeologists showing that giants in fact have existed!

So what is a giant? According to the encyclopaedias a giant is "an imaginary creature looking like a man but that is extremely tall, strong, and usually very cruel: Monstrous, savage creatures often appearing in children's stories". Well, the giants I am researching are not the three meters trolls from the Norwegian fairy tales or the four meters giant from Jack and the Beanstalk but humans or human-looking beings from ancient times. Usually between 2.30 and 2.70 meters tall.
     I have done this research for more than 15 years and as you can see under: I have confirmations that skeletons of giants have been found! So why do we not learn about this? Do we have a human history that we shall not know about?

Lovelock giant skull confirmed by museum! In 1911 several giant skeletons and ancient artefacts were supposedly fund in a cave in Lovelock in Nevada, USA. Almost everything was later lost in a fire but a skull is supposed to be found in the Humbolt Museum, Winnemucca. Magazine editor confirms the giant bones of Georgia! And tv-report shows them! The editor of World Geographic internet magazine has confirmed that they received a news story from Rustavi 2 broadcasting company about the giant bones of Borjomi, Caucasus mountains in Georgia! Texas giant-sized skull: Now confirmed by the university records! A newspaper article from 1940 tells that a giant- sized skull was fund in Texas. I have now received confirmation from the University of Texas that a large skull was found in the Morhiss mound in 1939 but that the skull has been missing from the collection. Glenn Kimball confirms giants of Peru On the internet you can see pictures of what seemingly is a mummy of a gold clad giant, taken by Glenn Kimball. I sent an inquiry to the gold museum in Peru and they confirmed that they have the mummy on the pictures in their museum. But on a follow up from me they said that the information from Kimball was false: "Everything expressed in this website is false and without any scientific basis." I managed to get hold of Glen Kimball's son Chase and he spoke to his father about my email and the claim from the Gold Museum: "Glenn is not a liar. A period of gigantism confirmed by Professor Lee Berger! On the internet you will find an interview with professor Lee Berger of South Africa. And not only does he talk about fossilized bones of human giants - he even shows the interviewer one! Professor Berger explains that it is so big that they can't even calculate how big the individual was but that it should be over 7 feet tall. - These individuals are extraordinary, they are giants, he says. Half-confirmed or unconfirmed findings - or information
It is not always that the museums or archaeologists reply to my enquiries about giants: It is more common that they do not reply. But even legends and fairy tales might have a basis in what really has happened in ancient times but are often changed and/or exaggerated because they have been told from mouth to mouth. So let us take a look at some other findings!

Were the Denisovans the giants of the ancient world? Research in resent years has showed that we once have had several species of humans. One of them was the Denisova hominins. Even if we not know for sure how tall they were they seem to have been taller than us Homo sapiens. Might be the Denisovans were the giants of ancient times? To read our article - click here
The explorers met giants in Patagonia Magellan was the first European to encounter the giants at the southern end of South America, but he was far from the only one! Other Spanish explorers followed, then the English and the Dutch. And they all saw giants, up to 11 feet (more than 3 meters) tall! For more than 250 years sailors visiting the land, that now was called Patagonia, could tell about seeing human giants - yes, early charts sometimes added "regio gigantum", "region of the giants", to the area! Bones in Ecuador from a 7,6 meter tall giant! Klaus Dona is an artefact researcher from Austria. During his work he discovered that there were quite a lot of archaeological findings that were hard to explain. He came across some bones from Ecuador, and examinations by experts confirmed that they belonged to a 7,6 meter human giant! To read our article - click here
Bones of giants on Catalina Island in the USA? Ralph Glidden uncovered ancient burial sites on Catalina Island from 1919 to 1928. He claimed that there once had lived an ancient race of tall and fair-haired Indians on Catalina Island and the adjacent islands. The largest skeleton he found was 9 feet 2 inches (2.80 m) tall. Giant of Castelnau - one if the largest humans Wikipedia: "Giant of Castelnau" refers to three bone fragments (a humerus, tibia, and femoral mid-shaft) discovered by Georges Vacher de Lapouge in 1890 in the sediment used to cover a Bronze Age burial tumulus, and dating possibly back to the Neolithic. According to de Lapouge, the fossil bones may belong to one of the largest humans known to have existed. He estimated from the bone size that the human may have been about 3.50 m (11 ft 6 in) tall. No modern peer-reviewed study has been published about the alleged giant bone fragments. To read in Wikipedia - click here
The kings and gods of Egypt were giants The kings of ancient Egypt were often said to be giants. The king Khasekhemui (ca. 2690 BC) was the final ruler of the Second Dynasty. He was 5 cubits and 3 palms high, about 8 English feet (2.44m), if the short cubit of 17.4 inches were used . If we use the ‘Royal Cubit’ his height increases to 14ft, 7in (4.45 meters)! The kings were tall because they were the children that the tall gods had with local women.
Gods and first kings of Mesopotamia were giants Ancient Mesopotamia, an area of the Near East often described as the cradle of civilisation, is roughly corresponding to modern-day Iraq, Kuwait, and parts of Syria, Iran and Turkey. Their gods were very tall and as in Egypt they lived among the people and often had children with local women. The most powerful and important deities were An, Enlil, Enki, Ninhursag, Nanna, Utu and Inanna.     Nimrod might have been the first king in Mesopotamia. Ha should have been the great-grandson og Noah and and the Bible states that he was "a mighty hunter before the Lord and began to be mighty in the earth".     Most historians generally agree Gilgamesh was a historical king of the Sumerian city-state of Uruk. Gilgamesh was half god and half human. He had six fingers and was very tall - see the lion that he is holding! Gilgamesh was regarded as superhuman. In the Epic of Gilgamesh he is said to be 11 cubits (approximately 18 feet) tall, and his punt poles were each 60 cubits long. The Sumerian King List says that Gilgamesh ruled the city of Uruk for 126 years.
Giants even in the Christian Bible! The Nephilim are mysterious beings or people in the Hebrew Bible who are large and strong; the word Nephilim is loosely translated as giants in some translations of the Hebrew Bible but left untranslated in others. Some traditional Jewish explanations interpret them as fallen angels. Pyramids said to have been built by giants The pyramid of the Sun in Mexico is said to have built by a race of giants: Tall humanlike gods that had come from across the sea, made pyramids and disappeared. The same might also go for the Great Pyramid of Egypt - even if it today most often is said that it was made by the pharaoh Cheops (Khufu) but he might have claimed something that was already there.
The giant grave and footprints in Tuvalu There are many legends about giants on the Pacific islands. On the island Nukulaelae in Tuvalu where I lived there is a grave after a half human/half giant that was called Te Valu. He might have been about 8 feet tall, since "valu" means "eight". His grave is 3.5 meters long. I was there when two Japanese archaeologists were asked to open the grave. But the chief changed his mind: Nobody was allowed to touch the grave. My daughter Sonia on the picture and me were very disappointed.      On the island on Nanumea, also in Tuvalu, two giants were said to have had a fight up in heaven in ancient times. One fell down and it is his footprint where he landed you can see to this day. On the picture I am having a look at the footprints in the shallow water.
Jotunheimen in Norway - the home of the giants Jotunheimen, which means the home of the giants, features the highest mountain in Norway. In Norse mythology, giants are the "founding beings". The more commonly known gods, such as Odin and Thor, are direct or indirect descendants of these giants.
