Was God an ancient giant?
We
can read in the Bible that the sons of God came to the daughters
of man and that they bore children to them, and that these
children were giants. So would it not be natural to assume
that God and also his sons were quite tall? Could the Christian
God have been an ancient giant?
The first sentence
of the Old Testament is telling that God created the heavens
and the earth; while the scientists claim that the start of
the universe was a Big Bang. What
is true? I do
not know - and I am more concerned about the most distant
past of the human history than the creation
of the universe. Because it seems like we have a hidden history;
a distant past that
it might be important for us to learn about no matter what
religion you believe in. In this article I will look
at scriptures and ancient legends
to try to figure out what this hidden history might be.

"Mankind
in our image"
Here is what the Old Testament says about the creation of
us humans: "Then God said, "Let us make mankind
in our image, in our likeness (Genesis
1:26)."
Who is God talking to?
The word used in the original bible-scriptures
was of course not the English word "God" but the
Hebrew word "Elohim" - and "Elohim" is
the plural form of the word "El". So the "God"
of Genesis was one of many gods; he was clearly talking to
his fellow gods!
The god that suggested that they should
make human beings was, according to the way the scriptures
are interpreted, named Yahweh
(YHWH), sometimes translated as Jehovah (the Jews started
to use the word "Adonai", which means "Lord",
just before the first century AD because they were afraid
to break the second commandment telling that ; "You shall
not take the name of the Lord your God in vain").
So we seem to know that the god that
suggested to create humans, and later became the Christian
god, was named/called Yahweh. Yahweh became the national god
of Israel, but originally he was one of many gods: The re-interpretation
took place in the 7th to 6th century BC during the so called
"one-god"
ideology; the gods became to one God.
"Formed a man"
So how did these gods make humans? The Christan scriptures
say that they "formed a man from the dust of the ground
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life" (Genesis
2:7).
Magic? Devine power? Science?
Let us leave the Christian Bible for
a second and take a look at the Sumerian texts. They are from
the same area of the world, - but are, after what we know,
older.
One of the Sumerian gods is Enki,
and he creates the first human by mixing the blod of one of
the dead gods with clay - and form it to a human shape. Yes,
very simular to the Christian creation!
Why did the gods make humans?
The
Bible says: "So that they may rule over the fish in the
sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the
wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the
ground" (Genesis
1:26). The Sumerian texts on clay tablets from around
3000 BC seems to tell (according to most researchers) that
it was more practical reasons; that the gods needed servants
and others that could help out with

The
Soviet-born American author Sacharia
Sitchin (1920-2010) claimed that the Sumerian tablets
are telling more: That it was a race of extraterrestrials
from a planet called Nibiru, the Anunnaki, who created Homo
sapiens by crossing extraterrestrial genes with those of Homo
erectus - to use them as slaves in their gold mines on Earth.
Who
was Yahweh?
So
who was this Yahweh? Well, according to oldest biblical scriptures;
Yahweh was a "divine
warrior". He led the Israelites out of the wilderness
and helped them fight against their enemies by the assistance
of his army of angels.
Some Egyptian texts say that he was
a nomad from todays Jordan, and that he had followed the caravan
routes from Egypt to Israel. According to some other sources;
Yahweh was an ancient storm
god; - his voice was like thunder.
And how did Yahweh look? According
to the Bible no one should see Yahweh - as he should have
said it himself: "You cannot see my face, for no man
can see me and live" (Exodus
33:20).
Moses - the most important prophet
The one that seemingly had the most direct contact with Yahweh
was Moses.

is the most important prophet in Judaism and also an
important
prophet in both

Christianity
and Islam. The Hebrew Bible tells that he was a former Egyptian
prince who became the religious leader and lawgiver for the
Israelites. Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt. When they
came to the Red Sea then Moses shall have held out his staff;
and the sea was parted by the help of God (Yahweh). When the
Israelites had come across then Moses held out his staff again;
the sea closed and drowned the pursuing Egyptian solders (Exodus
14).
The
Israelites then settled down at Mount
Sinai where Yahweh gave Moses two stone tablets inscribed
with the Ten Commandments. He did not see Yahweh but only
heard his voice from a burning bush. Yes, the other times
that Moses was in contact with Yahweh then he came in the
form of fire at night and in a cloud at day: "the Lord
appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of a cloud". (Deuteronomy
31:15-17).

Moses
and Akhenaten the same person?
The archaeologists say that there is no archaeological evidence
to support the story told in the Book of Exodus, and they
also question if Moses at all was a historical figure.
Well,
some speculate that Moses and the Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten
was the same person.
Akhenaten, first known as Amenhotep
IV, ruled for 17 years and died around year 1335 BC. He was,
according to the statues of him, a strange looking person.
He was unusual tall and had extremely wide hips and long backhead.
DNA tests of what of some researches believe is the mummy
of Akhenaten are said to have shown that was the father of
the famed boy-king Tutankhamun. Also Tutankhamun and his sisters
had extremely large backheads, and so did Akhenaten's wife
Nefertiti. The large backheads did not only look strange but
Tutankhamun and his family-members must have been extremely
difficult to deliver for the mothers!
Akhenaten
tried to abolish ancient Egyptian religion with its many gods
and replace it with one god (Amun) but was forced to abdicate
the throne and to retreat to Sinai with his Egyptian and Israelite
supporters.
The kings (pharaohs) of Egypt claimed
that they were descendants of the gods and it is said that
the Egyptians considered them to be demigods ("Shemsu
Hor"). The famous Egyptologist and archaeologist Prof.
Walter
B. Emery describes the most distant ancestors of the
Egyptian rulers as being tall in stature and having large
craniums, "reminiscent of Cro-Magnons", and also
blond hair and fair complexions. Henry
R. Hall at the British Museum said in the 1920s that
the invaders who formed the early dynastic Egyptian type were
"northern invaders," who formed an "aristocracy
of northern (and possibly Nordic) origin," over the native
Egyptians.
The
pharaoh Ramses II is a good example how special the aristocracy
was: Not only did he have a Nordic-looking face and red-blond
hair; he was about 2 meters tall, 1/2 meter taller than the
average people. And almost 100 years old when he died! But
one thing is a bit strange; the statues that are said to be
of Ramses do not look like the mummy!
The Talmud, the central text of Rabbinic
Judaism, says that Moses was a very large child at the
age of
three - and that he as an adult was ten cubits tall; about
4 and a half meters (15 feet)!

So Yahweh
- was he tall as well? We do not know. But Yahweh was, as
we have seen; one of the many gods, the Elohim.
Some believe that El was another name
for Yahweh - and point to Genesis
35:7 where it is written that Jacob builds an altar
to "El, god of Israel" ('el 'elohe yišra'el").
In 1929 the archaeologists found lots
of clay tablets in the ancient city of Ugarit on the northern
coast of Syria - and it is predominantly from these tablets
we have our knowledge of El.
He is here most often referred to as "the eternal King",
"Creator of all living beings" and "Father
of the gods." He was also called "El of the Mountain"
since he was said to be living on a mountain (Mount
Zaphon, sometimes accounted as the home of all the
gods). He was often depicted as a bearded man but also symbolized
by a bull. Ancient depictions also shows El to be very tall.
El shall have had seventy sons, and the most prominent was
Baal;
he became the military power of the gods.
The Sumerian
word "El" means "shining" or "bright".
So "Yahweh
Elohim" could mean; 'leader of the shining/bright ones'.
Yes, there is quite a lot of confusion
when it comes to "El". Some claim, as written above,
that El was the name of the supreme god of the Canaanite religion,
god of the Mesopotamian Semites in the pre-Sargonic period
- as well as the God of the Hebrew Bible. But as I have explained:
"El" is the singular form of "Elohim"
- "Gods".
The Sumerian scriptures are very simular
to the biblical texts when it comes to god/gods. Their creator
god was named Anu
and he lived on a mountain. He had a beard and was very tall.
Anu's wife was named Asherah;
and Asherah was also the name of El's wife! In addition to
being very tall she was also very important ("Queen of
heaven"); she shall have made a pact with the humans
and the sons of El!
Anu's son Enki created humans. Some read
the ancient biblical scriptures to say that Yahweh was El's
son - and we have seen that Yahweh did the same as Enki!
Anunnaki? The word's meaning is "offspring
of Anu", so they might have been the sons of
the most ancient god/gods. Offspring that
became very interested in the humans - in one way or another..!
Heard his voice
The Book
of Ezekiel is one of the major prophetic books in
the Old Testament. It has seven visions of Ezekiel, a prophet
who was exiled in Babylon from 593-571 BC. It seems that God
approaches Ezekiel as a divine warrior, riding in his chariot,
telling Ezekiel that the people had become wicked and giving
him instructions that he should tell his people about what
might happen if they not changed their ways.
"The
Bible says God measured out the heavens with a nine-inch
span. Well…my span is eight and three-quarter inches
long. So God's span is a quarter of an inch longer than
mine. So you see God stands somewhere around 6'2",6'3",
weighs somewhere in the neighbourhood of a couple hundred
pounds, little better."

Ezekiel's
visions are not describing in detail how God looked, but in
the first chapters
you can read: "upon the likeness of the throne was the
likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it. And I saw
as the
colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within
it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from
the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were
the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about"
You can also read that Ezekiel heard
his voice and that God gave him a book and something to eat:
"And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me;
and, lo, a roll of a book was therein", "So I opened
my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll."
Also
in the Book
of Revelation of the New Testament you can read a
bit about how God looked: "His head and hair were white
like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing
fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and
his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right
hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp
double-edged sword. His face was like the sun
shining in all its brilliance."

I have
explained about Yahweh, and that he was not the only god,
but you might not be aware that the Bible names no less than
34 gods!
One
of the most important gods of the Bible was Marduk,
the supreme god of Babylon. Babylon was the major city in
ancient Mesopotamia, situated on the fertile plain between
the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. You will find the ruins 94
kilometres (59 miles) southwest of Baghdad in Iraq. "Babylon"
is coming from Greek but is thought to have derived from the
old Akkadian language, most probably meaning "Gate of
the Gods". The name Babylon might today best be known
from the Boney M. song "Rivers of Babylon", but
by Babylon also feature in Genesis
chapter 11, where God caused the people to speak in
different languages after they against his will had started
to built the tower of Babel in the city.
Marduk shall have been the head of
the Babylonian pantheon in the second millennium BC, and was
regarded as the son of Ea (Sumerian Enki) and the heir of
Anu.
We can read about Marduk, Babylon
and God's reaction in Jeremiah
51:44-46: "I will punish Marduk, the god of Babylon,
and make him vomit up everything he gobbled down. Then nations
will no longer bring him gifts, and Babylon's walls will crumble."
How did he look? Well, he was said
to have been the tallest among the gods, which is also the
way he is depicted.

Grandfather of Noah
One who can tell us quite a lot about the ancient gods and
their offsprings was the patriarch Enoch.
According to the Biblical scriptures; he was the seventh from
Adam, and the grandfather of Noah.
Enoch is just briefly mentioned in
Genesis of the Hebrew Bible, but he is the subject of many
Jewish and Christian writings. Three so-called apocryphal
works are attributed to him: Book of Enoch (1st
Book of Enoch), 2nd
Book of Enoch and 3rd
Book of Enoch.
Remnants of several almost complete
copies of The Book of Enoch were found among the Dead Sea
Scrolls - a collection of almost thousand text discovered
between 1946 and 1956 in caves 2 kilometres inland from the
northwest shore of the Dead Sea in the West Bank. And additional
little-known texts about or by Enoch were also found - like
The
Book of Giants.
Walked with God
Most people have hardly heard about Enoch, but he and his
writings should have been very important for all Christians
since he was so close to the God of the Christian Bible: It
says that "Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he
was no more, because God took him away." (Genesis
5:24).
Well,
let us first look at the original words: "Wa-yithalekh
Hanokh et-ha-'elohim". Here we find it again: "'elohim".
The word is translated as "God" but it is in fact
also here in plural: "gods". Enoch walked with the
gods! Not one god - but several of them!
Let us now take a closer look at what
Enoch can tell us:

Book
of Enoch
|
This
first part of the Book of Enoch (1st Book of Enoch), describes
the fall of the Watchers. The
common translation from the often hard to read pages, because
the books are damaged, is that these Watchers were angels
that had come down to Earth to watch over the humans. They
had descended on Mount
Hermon (2,814 m, at the border between Syria and Lebanon),
at and they had showed the humans how to make knives, swords,
shields, and how to use ornaments and cosmetics. They had
also taught mankind astrology and meteorology, the art of
writing with ink and paper - and taught "the children
of men the bitter and the sweet and the secrets of wisdom."
(I
Enoch 69.8).
The problem was that the Watchers
began to lust for human women; they forgot their noble duties
and had sexual relation with them (Book
of Enoch - chapter VI): " And it came to pass
when the children of men had multiplied that in those days
were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the
angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them,
and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from
among the children of men and beget us children."

events described in Genesis take place in the Ancient
Near East: "Mesopotamia (modern Iraq, southeast
Turkey, southwest Iran, northeastern Syria and Kuwait),
ancient Egypt, ancient Iran (Elam, Media, Parthia and

Iran, southern Georgia, and western Azerbaijan), the

Daughters
of men
In Genesis
6:1-4 we can read the following: "And it came
to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth,
and daughters were born unto them. That the sons of God saw
the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them
wives of all which they chose."
Yes, almost identical to what we can
read in Enoch's book! And again: The word translated as "God"
in the Bible was originally in plural; "bene elohim"
meaning "the sons of the gods"!
So what happened when the sons of
the gods/angels/Watchers cohabited with the daughters of man?
Well, according to the Bible, again
Genesis
6:1-4: "There were giants in the earth in those
days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto
the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the
same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."
Not a surprise; the women bore children
to them.
Bore children to them
The Hebrew version is a bit different - here, we can read
: "The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and
also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters
of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty
men who were of old, men of renown."
Again the words "son of God"
should be "the sons of the gods" since the plural
form "elohim" also was used here in both versions
but we also can read about something/somebody that existed
on earth "in those days": Giants/Nephilim.

Jesus
and an angel

Some
say that this is to by read that the giants/Nephilim were
the sons of God(s) or the offspring of the sons of god and
the daughters of men but the texts say that they, the giants/Nephilim,
were on earth when the sons of God(s) came to the daughters
of men.
A
question can be if it was the giants /Nephilim who were the
mighty men of old or if it was the offspring of the sons of
the gods and the daughter of men that were the mighty men
of old.
It seems that most traditional biblical
scholars believe that the Nephilim were the product of relations
between fallen angels and human woman. But there is an ongoing
discussion if the angles were the sons of God or God's messengers.
Nephilim babies
So how did the daughters of the earth and their babies fare?
Kebra Nagast or "Book of the
Glory of Kings"; an account written of the origins of
the Solomonic line of the Emperors of Ethiopia, tells of enormous
Nephilim babies who could not fit in their human mother's
wombs: "And the daughters of Cain with whom the "angels"
had companied conceived, but they were unable to bring forth
their children, and they died. And of the children who were
in their wombs some died, and some came forth: having split
open the bellies of their mothers they came forth by their
navels". (iEn.6:6-8)
We
can read something simular in Genesis
3:16: "I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing;
in pain you shall bring forth children." But this happened
to Eve in the Garden of Eden. A serpent had approached Eve
and urged her to eat from the forbidden tree: "For God
does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes
shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and
evil" (Genesis
3:5).
Both Eva and Adam ate from the tree
and suddenly "they knew that they were naked" -
and "therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden
of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken."
To the serpent God said "You will crawl on your belly
and you will eat dust all the days of your life" (Genesis
3:14).
So who was this serpent - that obviously
could walk upright before God cursed him? Traditional biblical
scholars would say that the serpent was Satan, the Devil,
in the disguise of a snake (without explaining how a snake
could walk). Well, might be I can be free enough to ask if
the serpent if fact was a Nephilim?
Some believe that the fallen angles
that had descended on Mount Hermon had introduced the "seed
of the serpent" into the human race. And we know
what this union has given as result: Yes, exactly - the giants/Nephilim.
And, believe it or not: That Eva mated with the serpent and
that their offspring was Cains has been taught the people
in various forms for thousands of years!
The
Nephilim grew, according to Enoch's
book to a gigantic size - and created a lot of trouble:
"Whose stature was each three hundred cubits. These devoured
all which the labour of men produced; until it became impossible
to feed them; When they turned themselves against men, in
order to devour them; And began to injure birds, beasts, reptiles,
and fishes, to eat their flesh one after another, and to drink
their blood." "And men, being destroyed, cried out;
and their voice reached to heaven." The angels looked
down from heaven "and saw the quantity of blood which
was shed on earth, and all the iniquity which was done upon
it, and said one to another, It is the voice of their
cries. The angels spoke to the Most High, the Great and Holy
One, and the Lord said that the angels that had cohabited
with the daughters of man should be punished: "Bind Azazyel
hand and foot; cast him into darkness; and opening the desert
which is in Dudael, cast him in there. Throw upon him hurled
and pointed stones, covering him with darkness; There shall
he remain for ever; cover his face, that he may not see the
light." (300 cubits is about 135 meters, the same lenght
as the ark,but there might be a mix-up between the many versions
of curbit
used)
The Lord/Most High/Great/Holy One
also told one of his other angels to go to see the son of
Lamech: "Say to him in my name, Conceal thyself. Then
explain to him the consummation which is about to take place;
for all the earth shall perish; the waters of a deluge shall
come over the whole earth, and all things which are in it
shall be destroyed."
The son of Lamech was Noah.
Wickedness
of the human race
Genesis does not elaborate of the giants/Nephilim and it is
not said if the offspring of the fallen angels/sons of God
and daughters of the earth created problems for God/the gods
- we only can read the following (Genesis
6-9) : "The LORD saw how great the wickedness
of the human race had become on the earth, and that every
inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil
all the time. The LORD regretted that he had made human beings
on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. So the LORD
said, "I will wipe
from the face of the earth the human race I have created-and
with them the animals, the birds and the
creatures that move along the ground - for I regret that I
have made them."
But God changed his mind and told Noah to build a large ark.
When Noah, his family and all the animals are safe on board;
God sends the Flood, which rised until all the mountains were
covered and all life on Earth is destroyed. According to the
Bible the ark came to rest on one of the tops of the mountains
of Ararat
in present-day Turkey. Noah and his family were safe and could
start to repopulate the Earth.

Some biblical
literalists say that the ones that God wanted to cleanse from
the Earth with the Great Flood were the children that his
sons had with the humans; the giants!
Well, it does not seem like a hundred
percent success - because the Bible and other scriptures tell
about giants also after the deluge!
Could it have been that one of the
women aboard the ark already was pregnant with a giant, might
be Noah's wife as some speculate? Or might be Noah himself
had blood from the giants?
A strange son
Yes, it was something strange about Noah, because;
as you can read in the Book of Enoch (Chapter
CVI) about Noah and his birth: "a strange son,
diverse from and unlike man, and resembling the sons of the
God of heaven","his body was white as snow and red
as the blooming of a rose, and the hair of his head and his
long locks were white as wool, and his eyes beautiful".
Yes, his father Lamech did not believe that Noah was sprung
from him, but from the angles. He admits that in the generation
of his father Jared some of the angels of heaven had "united
themselves with women and commit sin with them, and have married
some of them, and have begot children by them. And they shall
produce on the earth giants not according to the spirit, but
according to the flesh, and there shall be a great punishment
on the earth, and the earth shall be cleansed from all impurity".
The Sumerian flood myth is believed
to be older than the ones in Genesis and Enoch's Book - with
a short version as early as the third dynasty of Ur 2100-2000
BC:
The assembly of gods make a command
(Eridu
Genesis): "By our hand a flood will sweep over
the cities of the half-bushel baskets, and the country; the
decision, that mankind is to be destroyed, has been made.
A verdict, a command of the assembly, can not be revoked."
The eleventh tablet of the Gilgamesh
Epic describes how the gods sent a flood to destroy
the world. The hero Utnapishtim was forewarned by Enki to
built an ark and load it with pairs of animals. After the
flood he sent out birds to look for dry land.
Another
Sumerian tablet indentifies the flood hero as the king Ziusudra;
"the huge boat had been tossed about on the great waters,"
then the sun appears and Ziusudra opens a window, prostrates
himself, and sacrifices an ox and a sheep".
Yes, there are so many flood
myths all around the world, more than 500 - and they
are so very simular, even the ones from opposite side of the
world. Very often there are giants involved and even if they
were meant to be eradicated from earth by the flood it almost

seem as some of them manage to survive.
Tall
kings
It
seems that many of the descendants of the giant race that
survived the flood, now often considered half-gods because
they were the children "the sons of the gods begot with
the daughters of man", became the kings/rulers of the
post-deluge empires/kingdoms.
I do believe that it is fair to say
that kings of the ancient Mesopotamian area were very tall.
We have depictions of them on ancient steles and tablets.
Well, traditional scholars will claim that the depictions
are exaggerated - that the kings and their followers that
made the depictions wanted to show them more tall than they
actually were; to emphasise the greatness of the rulers. But
also the ancient texts from the clay tablets describes them
as very tall, much taller that ordinary people. And as we
can see from their features on the steles: they were also
looking quite different to the people they ruled! Not only
had their hair and beard been fashioned in a particular and
almost impossible way, not only did they wear strange hats
and garments and not only were they looking way more physically
(and mentally) strong than the common people: Their facial
features were different to the people of the area. And they
often had blue eyes, wich was widely
accepted as a sign of the gods.

Naram-Sin
was a Mesopotamian king of the Akkadian Empire, who reigned
ca. 2254-2218 BC. He was the grandson of King Sargon, the
founder of the Dynasty of Akkad, also known as Sargon the
Great. Naram-Sin was the first Mesopotamian king to claim
divinity for himself and to have signed official documents
with the seal of a god; - the god of Akkad. From a few Old
Akkadian letters Naram-Sin was described as nine foot (2.7
m) tall giant who was "sired, born and suckled by gods"!

(668-627 BC), also was the last of the great kings of the
empire of Assyria which reached from Mesopotamia (modern-day
Iraq) through Asia Minor (modern Turkey) and down through
Egypt. He was a popular king but was known for his cruelty
toward those he defeated (he shall have tread a dog-chain
through a defeated king's jaw and forced him to live in a
kennel). Ashurbanipal is best known for his enormous library
at Nineveh. After his death the Assyrian Empire fell apart
completely.
Yes, the ancient kings of the Mesopotamian
area are very often depicted as giants. Might be you think
that this was why they became kings; that they were so tall
and strong that they could take on anybody? Well, remember
that they also were looking different, and that they obviously
had superior skills and mental capacities. To be a tall and
strong person does not necessary make you a king!

Goliath,
the famous giant slain by the later king David, shall have
been about 3,60 meters (12 feet) tall. He was one of the last
giants, the Anakim.
The Anakim was a race of giants descended
from Anak mentioned in the Tanakh. They lived near Hebron
in the south of Canaan, (Josh.15:13,
21:11).
King David and his men had many encounters
with giants on the battlefields, of Goliath's family and giants
from Egypt.
Another giant was Og.
He was the king of the Amorites, descendants of Canaan, son
of Ham (son of Noah). They are described as a powerful people
of great stature "like the height of the cedars (Amos
2:9) as ," who had occupied the land east and
west of the Jordan. King Og is being described as the last
"of the remnant of the Rephaim" - giants.
Common belief
Well, there are today more that 2 billion people all over
the world that are Christian and believe in the Christian
Bible - and the Bible tells about giants. That
giants had lived on earth was also the common belief up to
a few hundred years ago, and also what the first historians
wrote as a fact.

(that ended when the titan Prometheus
gave the fire to the humans). The titans were giants of incredible
strength and knowledge; they lived at Mount
Othrys in central Greece. The major deities of the
Greek pantheon were the Twelve
Olympians, who lived on Mount
Olympus. The Titans and Olympians fought a ten years
long war called Titanomachy.
The legends of Egypt tells about several
periods for humanity. "Zep
Tepi" ("First Time"), was founded by
"Builder Gods" who came from an island that sank
during a catastrophic
flood. They recreated civilisation from memory.
You will find same all over the world:
Legends and myths tells about several periods on earth, and
that there was a race of giants/gods that lived together with
the ordinary humans. But they were much more advanced than
the humans and they taught ordinary people their skills like
farming, building and writing. Yes, in the ancient time
it was nothing special with living gods that were very tall,
what we call today call giants
(the word "giant" was derived from Greek "gigantes".

So if the
giants, the gods or the children the sons of god begot with
the women of the earth, were so clever: Why don't we find
any remnants after them? Should they not have built cities
with great buildings - and enormous statues of themselves?
Well, there might in fact be lots of remnants after the gods/halfgods//giants;
there are thousands and thousands of megalithic structures
all over the world! Have you not seen any? Might be it is
because you have not been looking or because you are not aware
that the explanations we have been given about many of the
ancient megaliths do not hold water?
First:
Stone cannot be dated. You can date something found in the
ground close to a megalith but that does not mean that the
item was as old as the megalithic structure. You cannot say
that a pyramid is 200 years old because you found a coin from
the year 1715 dug down close to the pyramid's
wall - if you understand what I mean!
Let
us take the pyramids of Egypt. Most scientists say that the
Great Pyramid was made by the pharaoh Khufu, because they
found his cartouche, signature, painted on a wall. Well, many
incredible jars and other ancient items bear the signatures
of pharaohs. But might be they found everything standing there
like in a deserted city; pyramid, jars and the whole lot -
and put their stamp on whatever they found to show that it
belonged to them! Of course they also could have modified
a lot of what they found, like carving a face on a sphinx
of a lion or trying to make a pyramid into a tomb (no mummy
has been found inside a pyramid at Giza). Yes, be aware that
the Great Pyramid is superior compared to the other pyramids
at Giza and other places in Egypt. The others might very well
be later copies, because they get smaller and less well built
the newer that are. The opposite should have been the case!
The pharaohs might have remembered
some of the techniques of the original builders but obviously
not well enough to have the same success!
You can find ancient pyramids all
over the world; hundreds, if not thousands of them. The archaeologists
try to explain how old they are and who built them, and in
many cases they might be right but again; stone cannot be
dated and kings and emperor might have taken credit for megalithic
structures built before them. The legends are very simular;
the large buildings of stone were made by giants, by gods
that once walked on the earth.
2 million stones
The Great Pyramid is made from more that 2 million stones
The casting stones are weighting about 10 tons each and the
granite beams above the Kings Chamber weigh up to 70-80 tons
each; said to have been ferried about 934 km down the river
from a quarry at Aswan. The casting stones were fitting so
closely and perfectly together that it would be very hard
to replicate it today with modern tools and machines. The
largest stone used at Giza is found in a temple besides Khafres'
pyramid, it is estimated to weigh 468 ton; more than thirty
fully loaded London double-decker buses. An unfinished obelisk
at Aswan measures 42 meters (120-feet) and would have weighed
over 1,168 tons when completed! The colossal statue of the
enthroned Ramses was 19 meters high and weighing around 1000
tons - and the stone for this statue was transported 170 miles
over land from Aswan to Thebes!
1.650 tons
You will also find heavy man-hewn stones in Lebanon. The Baalbek-trilithon
is composed of three stones in what is called Jupiter Baal
Temple, each weighing 750 tons each. Close to to the temple
is an even heavier stone, the so called "Stone of the
Pregnant Woman", it weighs an estimated 1,200 tons. Archaeologists
from Germany have recently discovered another monolith, partly
buried besides the "Stone of the Pregnant Woman. It is
estimated to weight 1.650 tons, the heaviest and largest stone
from antiquity found - so far. All the stones in Baalbak are
said by the mainstream archaeologists to have been hewn by
the Romans but there is some evidence that the stones predates
their presence in the Middle East. Some parts of the structures,
like the temple walls, might have been built by the Romans
but also using stones they found already hewn and in place
since they most probably would be unable to move
and lift such large stones.
The
islands of giants
Malta,
Comino and Gozo are three islands in the middle of the Mediterranean
Sea, not so far away from Egypt. Ancient megalithic monuments
can be found on all the islands. They are often called "the
islands of giants", since both the local population and
the first archaeologist believed that the walls, statues,
underground halls and other structures were built by a now
extinct rase of giants. A temple complex at Gozo is called
Ggantija - meaning "Giant's Place" - is dated to
3600-3000 BC.
More than 7.000 skeletons were found
in the ancient underground chambers of Hypogeum on Malta,
and many then had elongated skulls. Some of the skulls were
on display in a museum in Valletta but after 1985 those skulls
and other strange skulls found on Malta disappeared.
The Wheel of Giants
In the Golan Heights region of Israel you can find an megalithic
site called Gilgal
Refa'im, "The Wheel of Giants". The"wheel"
is made 40.000 tons of rocks placed in circles, with a largest
diameter of about 160 meters. The wheel is said to
have been made by the same people that Goliath and king Og
descended from; the refaim. They were the children of the
before mentioned Anak of the bible: "..we saw men of
giant stature...we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers.."
(Num.
13:33)
In the late 1980's the archaeologist Jonathan
Tubb and his team from the British Museum shall have unearthed
the remains of some extremely tall people at the site of Tel
es-Sa'idiyeh in the Golan Heights area. In the same area
there are also hundreds of dolmen and tumuli (small mounds
of stone), said to be graves but nobody really know what a
dolmen originally was for and who made them. The legends often
connect them to giants, some tell that the giants hid in them
because something bad was about to happen.

Göbekli
Tepe ("Potbelly Hill") is a prehistoric
site 760 m (2,493 ft) above sea level near the city of Sanliurfa
of Turkey (Upper Mesopotamia). It is dated to be about 12.000
years old. It has more than 200 stone pillars erected in 20
circles. Each pillar has a height of up to 6 m (20 ft) and
a weight of up to 20 tons and they are placed into sockets
hewn out of the bedrock. Göbekli Tepe was excavated by
the German archaelog Klaus Schmidt and his team from 1996.
Schmidt estimated that roughly five percent of the site has
been excavated and the purpose of the structures is not yet
clear.
The "problem" with Göbekli
Tepe is that it is too old: It was built 7,000 years before
the Great Pyramid and more than 6,000 years before Stonehenge.
Yes, the ruins are so old that they should predate villages,
pottery, domesticated animals, and even agriculture. But still
the archaeologists have found carved and polished circles
of stone, with terrazzo flooring and double benches. The site
is almost covered in graceful, naturalistic sculptures and
bas-reliefs of animals. Many of the biggest pillars are carved
with arms with jointed fingers (yes, the way they are holding
the hands on the stomach are very simular to what
you can find on the stone statues of Easter Island in the
Pacific on the other side of the world!). Highly refined art
- that should not exist in this time of pre-history! So who
made Göbekli Tepe and why?
Life-rafts
Take a look at the drawing of Göbekli Tepe. There is
what must have been be a long entrance made of stone - almost
like a tunnel leading to the circular stone walls around the
inner room. Was it a kind of an underground fort? Were the
solid stone walls and entrance meant to keep enemies out?
Or can it be that the old legends and biblical stories telling
about catastrophes and floods are true? Were the many ancient
dolmen, mounds, pyramids and other megalithic structures not
originally burial sites but meant to be a kind of life-rafts?
Did they know that a catastrophe was coming? Did they try
to save themselves against a world-wide flooding by building
giant walls of stone? Did they, like legends in Spain say,
try to seek shelter in dolmen of large stones?
Göbekli Tepe and many other megalithic monuments are
situated on hills or mountain tops. Yes, the incredible site
of Tiahuanacu
(Tiwanaku) in Bolivia is 3,825 m (12,500 feet/2,5
miles) above sea level
-
the builders must have been
desperate to make megalithic monuments, like pyramids, at
a hight were the physical effort needed almost was impossible
because of the thin air!
Can it be that the megalithic structures
were made so solid and hight above sea level to survive a
deluge they knew were coming?

The
shape of the stones of the megalithic walls around the world
are very often simular. They have a kind of pillow-shaped
form and are interlocked in the most intricate (and almost
impossible form taken the size of the stones into consideration).
Was the interlocking to make the structures earthquake proof
and the pillow shape to make room for a kind of waterproofing
putty?
On a mountain
You have learned that (the Christian) God lives in heaven,
right? Well, again: the first biblical scriptures do not tell
that God live in a theological heaven. It was more earthbound
then that: God lived on a mountain! In Amos
9:1-3 we can read that nobody can escape the time
of judgement even if they climb up to heaven - and in the
next verse that is explained as climbing to the top of Mount
Carmel (a mountain range in northern Israel). Yes,
in Exodus
19:20 and other Bible-scriptures we learn that God
was on top of Mount
Sinai when he called Moses up to him. Here everything
higher up than normal ground is called "heaven".
In 1 Enoch (1
En 6:6) the sons of God are said to be descending
from Mount
Hermon.
Even the Sumerian tablets seems to
tell that the gods lived up in the mountains, and alternative
scholars like Boguslaw Lipinski suggest that the same Mount
Hermon, a mountain cluster on the border between Syria
and Lebanon (2,814 metres/9,232 ft), was the dwelling place
for the Annunaki. And we of course remember that the Greek
gods were residing atop Mount
Olympus (and that Noahs ark landed in Mount
Ararat).
Well, it would of course be smart
of the gods to reside on a mountain if they knew that a deluge
was coming - and it would also be natural that survivors of
a world wide flood would end up on mountain tops if they managed
to make a boat in time!
A very distant past
The mainstream archaeologists say that many of the megaliths,
like dolmen and pyramids, were tombs for deceased kings and
that they were made by the ancestors of the locale people.
But when the first explorers asked the natives who made the
megaliths they told them that it was not their forefathers,
but that the megalithic structures were made in a very distant
past - by race of giants. So what is true? Well, their forefathers
were hunters and collectors; so it is a fair question to ask
if they had time, interest, tools or knowledge to make large
structures of stone.

So
can it be that there once existed a race of tall humans or
human-like beings that had a technology that was as good as,
or better, than ours. Yes, many of the ancient megalithic
structures and items found are of such a quality, size and
precision that we should struggle greatly to make simular
today with our modern equipment and tools!
But have you noticed that many of
the megaliths walls, seems to have built in two (or three
if you add the most resent additions) disincentive periods?
With enormous stones fitted with incredible precision at the
bottom, and smaller stones placed with less precision higher
up. Did the giants make walls to protect themselves against
the catastrophe they knew was coming? Did the surviving giants
try to rebuild their civilization after memory as legends
say - but without the proper tools?
White, bearded gods
In many countries all over the world you will find legends
telling that the gods had come across the ocean after a world
wide catastrophe. They were tall, they were white skinned,
they were blonde or read headed, and they often had blue eyes.
The Norwegian researcher Thor
Heyerdahl of the Kon-Tiki
fame was often criticised because he talked about the "white
bearded gods" - and claimed that he was a racist.
But Heyerdahl only referred to the legends that he had heard
- he could not care less if these gods where brown or pink!
The legends told of white skinned and blond giants that often
were said to be gods - and Heyerdahl followed them all the
way from the Pacific islands to the Caucasus Mountains!
When
the first European explorers, like the Spanish conquistadors
and the English missionaries, arrived in North- and South
America they were told about a "bearded god" that
in a distant past had visited their ancestors. He had thought
them their culture but then he had left again - with a promise
that he would return. So the natives were very happy to see
the bearded men walk ashore from their ships - they believed
that it was the god that returned!
This
bearded god was called Quetzalcoatl by the Aztecs of Central
Mexico, Kukulkan by the Mayas of Mesoamerica and Viracocha
by the Incas of South America. He was known as Votan in Palenque
in southern Mexico, Zamna in the Mexican state of Izama, and
also as Gucumatz in Central America. He was often called the
"Feathered
Serpent", and he and his men were often described
as being very tall, bearded, with white skin and blue eyes.
Also the tribes of what now is United States and Canada could
tell the same story - that they had been visited in ancient
time by white, bearded gods. Yes, it seems safe to say that
almost every indigenous culture in the Americans have legends
about this mysterious visitor or visitors. And believe it
or not; you can find the same legends many other places in
the world as well!
Some Mormons believe that Quetzalcoatl
was Jesus Christ, some believe that the gods were an ancient
Aryan race that was worshipped worldwide, while others speculate
that the gods were aliens that came from space down to Atlantis
but were forced to move when Atlantis sank. The most accepted
explanation to the legends in North- and South America is
more down to earth; that there had been European exploiters
visiting the Americas before the Christopher Columbus arrived
in October 1492. Well, there are texts telling that a band
of Irish monks led by Saint
Brendan reached the Americas around 900 AD and we
know that the Norwegian Viking Leif
Erikson landed in what he called Vinland around your
1000 AD. So monks or Vikings could have been the white gods
if it had been for the fact many of the legends are older.
Might be even thousands of years older!

One of
the white and tall gods that I mentioned was Votan in southern
Mexico. Pacal
Votan, Pacal the Great, was a Maya that shall have
lived from 603 to 683 AD. He became king when he was 12 years
old and reigned until he died, 80 years old. His son shall
have had six fingers. Some legends say that Pacal came from
the stars while others that he came from far across the sea.
He shall have had an enormous knowledge about space and cycles
of time. He figured out that the earth, the sun would be on
line with the centre of the Milky Way on 21 December 2012
and prophesised that this would make the magnetic poles on
the sun change place rapidly and that the magnetic poles of
the earth would do the same - with catastrophic consequences.
Well, that did not happen but there were quite a few people
around the world that were quite nervous on the 21st of December
that year!
Some believe that "Votan"
was the same name as the Nordic god Odin,
with whatever that could implicate. Votan is also known for
his enormous
sarcophagus lid in the pyramid
of Palenque; some say that the engravings on it depicts
a person travelling in a space ship.
Cycles
of time
The legends of many lost civilisations tell that we have been
through many cycles of time; that the humans - often with
the help of the gods - built an advanced culture that suddenly
disappeared.
The Aztec people who once dominated
large parts of Mesoamerica believed that he present world
was preceded by four other cycles of creation and destruction.
During the first age, the first Sun, the fours gods created
giants from ashes. But a rivalry grew between of the gods,
Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca. The sun was knocked from the
sky, and in anger Tezcatlipoca sent jaguars to destroy the
giants.
The gods created a new group of people,
and this time they were of normal size. Years passed but then
the people of the Earth grew less and less civilized and stopped
honouring the gods. Tezcatlipoca turned them into monkeys.
Furious Quetzalcoatl sent a mighty hurricane that blew all
of the monkeys from the face of the Earth.
In the third Sun Tezcatlipoca shall
have stolen the wife of another god, Tlaloc, who now shone
as the sun. Tlaloc then refused to allow it to rain, even
if the people begged him. In a fit of rage he answered their
prayers by sending a rain of fire until the entire Earth had
burned away.
The gods then had to construct a whole
new Earth from the ashes, and they selected Tlaloc's kind
sister (and wife) Calchiuhtlicue to be the sun. But Tezcatlipoca
became jealous and said that she only faked kindness to gain
the people's praise. Chalchiuhtlicue was so angered by this
that she sent a horrific flood that drowned everyone on Earth.
would not accept the destruction of
the people on the Earth and descended to the underworld where
brought up the bones of the dead. He dipped them in his own
blood and resurrected them - the people of today, the fifth
Sun.
Quetzalcoatl was as we have seen also
the name of a god that visited many places of South- and Central-America
but this bearded white god might have been a visitor from
far away that took, or was given, his name after the creation
gods!
The Hopi of North America are descended
from the ancient Pueblo peoples, and they call our time the
"The Fourth Age of Man". According to them the first
world ended when volcanoes all over the world erupted with
an all consuming fire. The second age ended when the poles
shifted; mountains fell into the seas and the Earth was covered
with ice. The third world ended when water flooded the Earth;
continents sunk and broke into many islands. This flood should
have taken place approximately 11,000 - 12,000 years ago.

catastrophes
So have we had enormous catastrophes in the distant past?
Has there been a deluge, has is "rained fire", have
the poles shifted?
We know that the magnetic poles on
both the sun and the earth have shifted positions; in fact
our sun's magnetic poles shift about every 11th year. The
scientists believe that it is this reversal that makes the
magnetic poles on our Earth also change places but that it
takes thousands of years. So slow that it does not cause any
catastrophe. The earth's axis slowly "wobbles" out
of centre, and this also said to be another reason that the
magnetic poles moves.
Professor Charles H. Hapgood of the
USA studied ancient maps of the world, and discovered to his
surprise that several maps depicted an ice-free Antarctica.
Hapgood hypothesized that the original maps had been drawn
by an advanced civilization thousands of years earlier when
Antarctica was without ice; that the pole once laid about
30 degrees further north. That the entire solid crust of our
Earth had slipped on the mantel like the loose skin of an
orange (a theory supported by Albert Einstein). Hapgood also
believed that the Earth's axis had shifted numerous times;
rapid pole shifts with catastrophic results, the last one
about 10.000 years ago.
Scientists
earlier believed that ice ages have been coming and going
very slowly but drilling into the glaciers of Greenland has
shown that climate change occurs more rapidly than previously
believed - and that the most recent ice age ended in just
one year, 11.700 years ago.
Some believe that the deluge myth
may be based on a sudden rise in sea levels caused by the
rapid draining of Lake Agassiz at the end of the last Ice
Age, about 10,000 years ago. Ice covered parts of North America,
northern Europe, and other regions and Lake Agassiz was an
huge glacial lake located in the middle of the northern part
of North America, and it held more water than contained by
all lakes in the world today.
"There
is now ample scientific evidence that a massive global
cataclysm damaged our planet about 11,700 years ago.
It could have from comet fragments, an energetic pulse
from galactic center, and/or plasma ejection from the
sun. I personally believe it was all of the above. And
this would explain what happened to the great ancient
megalithic builders."

M Schoch, who has dated the Spinx to a much earlier
date the previously thought, believes that we have had intense
plasma outbursts from the sun that have affected the life
on Earth. He agrees with earlier reseachers that nitrate events
measured in ice cores correlate with solar events. And that
a plasma event at the Younger Dryas cold spell (circa 10900
to 9700 BC) could have caused the end of the last ice age.
And also that a major plasma event could have vaporised large
amounts of water from lakes and oceans, which in turn would
rain down continously and cause widespread flooding, - just
like the story in Genesis. He also says that a major plasma
phenomena could literally have inicerated the surface of the
Earth, including human structures and artefacts. Only massive
stone structures, megaliths like the Great Pyramid, would
have a chanse of surviving: - Do some of these stone stuctures
belong to another time - to the "world of the Gods"?,
he asks in his article "Glass
Castles & Fire from the Sky".
Volcano eruptions have also played
a important part in the Earth's history. About 200 million
years ago almost 80 percent of the life on land and in sea
went extinct but the biggest eruption is believed to have
been at Yellowstone in the USA about 2.2 million years ago;
an eruption that produced 2,500 cubic kilometres of ash! Another
large eruption took place in Oregon in about 4895 BC.
Raining
fire? From the Bible, Genesis
19:24: "Then the LORD rained down fire and burning
sulfur from the sky on Sodom and Gomorrah".
Well,
volcanoes can make it rain down fire but a number of astronomers
believe the destruction of the sinful cities could have taken
place and involve comet activity. During a disintegration
of a comet in the Earth's atmosphere small and large chunks
of rocky material can be seen falling from

like "rain". And even a small meteor can produce
a strong smell of sulphur. Archaeologists have found the ruins
of two Bronze Age cities at the southern end of the Dead Sea
Burnt and reddened, burned bricks have been found.
What is called the
Cretaceous extinction took place about 66 million
years ago. It is believed that an enormous asteroid hit north
of the Yucatan Peninsula. It shall have caused a global firestorm,
followed by an extremely cold period and finally a global
warming that extinguished the dinosaurs. Yes, about three-quarters
of the plants and animals on Earth shall have died over a
short period of time. Another massive and rapid global cooling
shall have taken place about 12.900 years ago. 35 mammal species,
including the mammoth, died out - and so did also the so-called
human Clovis-culture. Nanodiamonds found across North America
points to that a comet that exploded was the culprit.
At the southern end of Madagascar,
an island country in the Indian Ocean, lie four enormous sediment
deposits, called chevrons, composed of material from the ocean
floor. Each covers twice the area of Manhattan with sediment
as deep as the Chrysler Building is high. A large asteroid
or comet shall have smashed into the Ocean about 4,800 years
ago, producing a tsunami at least 600 feet (180 m) high, about
13 times as tall as the one that devastated Indonesia in 2004.

it seems certain that we have had major catastrophes on Earth
- but the how can catastrophes in the Cretaceous period 66
millions years ago have any relevance to human giants?

the time for the emergence of the first modern humans has

on Earth
for hundred of thousands or rather millions of
years ago. In his book "Forbidden
Archaeology" he is claiming that he has "over
900 pages of well-documented evidence suggesting that modern
man did not evolve from ape man, but instead has co-existed
with apes for millions of years". And that the scientific
establishment has suppressed the fossil evidence of extreme
human antiquity. Traditional archaeologists refute Cremo's
claims, most probably without reading the book and taking
a look at the evidence he is presenting, but every year we
seems to get older and older dates for the first humans, so
why not have an open mind?
One
example of very ancient humanity are the Happisburgh
Footprints
on the coast of south-eastern
England. In May 2013 archaeologists noticed that an area of
newly exposed Early Pleistocene sediments was covered with
human footprints. They concluded was that the footprints were
made more than 780,000 years ago: "The humans of mixed
ages were moving in a southerly direction across the mudflats
of a tidally influenced river within the upper reaches of
its estuary. The mudflats were rapidly buried by tidal processes
with further silts."
Even older are the "Klerksdorp
spheres" They are small spherical objects found in almost
3 billion-year old deposits in a pyrophyllite mine near Ottosdal
in South Africa. Roelf
Marx, curator of the museum of Klerksdorp said: 'The
spheres are a complete mystery. They look man-made, yet at
the time in Earth's history when they came to rest in this
rock no intelligent life existed."
The
"Ica stones" is a collection of andesite stones
with depictions of dinosaurs and humans together. The National
University of Engineering of Peru tested them in 1966 and
concluded that the stones were of Pre-Hispanic origin. Of
course some perople have been making fakes to make money by
selling them to the tourists but the Ica tombs in Paracas
and Tiahuanaco are dating from 500 B.C. to 1,000 AD. Some
of the stones are depicting dinosaurs with spines and other
anatomical features that only recently have been discovered
by paleontologists. Can it be that tall humans did co-exist
with dinosaurs (notice that the human fighting a Tyrannosaurus
rex is very tall)?
The so-called "Acambaro
Figurines", 32.000 of them, depicted all types
of creatures - also dinosaurs. Most scientists believe that
the figurines are not genuine; the main argument is of course
that the dinosaurs died out long before homo sapiens came
to existence. Well, thermoluminescence testing has shown that
the figurines are about 4500 years old. So how could somebody
make a figurine depicting a dinosaur, when fossil records
of dinosaurs did not exist?
On the walls
of a temple near Angkor Wat in Cambodia there are
hundreds of carvings of animals and one of the carvings seems
to be of a Stegosaurus dinosaur! Again; most scientists say
that this is a hoax or that the depiction does not show a
dinosaur. But research has shown that the carved figure is
very old - and it definitely looks like a Stegosaurus!
Also Australian Aborigines
have ancient stories of encounters with huge animals that
best can be described as dinosaurs.
Killed them all
Ok. Let us say that we have had humans, or human-like beings,
in a very, very distant past, and that they had technology
to make megalithic structures of a size and/or quality we
have trouble replicating. Where are they today? If a worldwide
catastrophe killed them all; why don't we find bones after
them - gigantic or not?
Well, under the right conditions,
a human skeleton can be quite intact for millions of years
but under the wrong ones, it might be less than 50 years before
it is gone. Peat bogs, ice and dry deserts will give a naturally
mummification. Sometimes ancient skeletons have turned into
fossils; the bones have gradually been replaced with minerals,
kind of turning them to 'rock'. It is said that it has been
found more that 6,000 fossils of early humans, and there are
new discoveries done every year.
But what do think would have happened
if a gigantic comet had crashed into the ocean and raised
a several hundred meter tall tsunami that rushed around the
world? Even if the humans/human beings/giants knew the comet
was coming and tried to make enormous walls of stone to protect
themselves it would be in vain. They would be washed to the
sea. Some might be washed into caves or buried under ground
but the majority of them would have ended up at the bottom
of the oceans. And then debris like ashes, rock and sand would
have covered them.
Well, what do we find under the sea
bottoms today - that is so important to us? The answer is
of course oil/petroleum.
I once asked an American scientist
if there ever has been found human DNA in crude oil. He replied
that he found my question very interesting but that crude
oil was formed under such an intense heat and pressure that
no DNA would survive.
Ok, we know that crude oil is a fossil
fuel; formed when dead organisms, like algae, plants and animals
are buried under sedimentary rock (rock formed in a geological
process involving sediments, soil, rocks and usually water).
So what do you think about
the idea that you might be driving your car on the remains
of ancient giants?

Many
mainstream scientists still say that we have not had any world
wide catastrophes but this is about to change with the resent
studying of gigantic craters and layers of ash. And it is
not difficult to find chevrons (large deposits of sand and/or
stones) many places in the world, fossils of seashells on
mountaintops, gigantic salt flats, drumlins after ocean waves
and stones vitrified by enormous heat.
Yes, it can really be asked if not
the legends telling about upheaval of mountains are true when
you see the up to 130 tons stone blocks
in Puma Punka in Tiwanaku, Bolivia. It almost looks
like they have been thrown around by a giant's hands as some
legends say but I guess legends about rising mountains are
more plausible. Puma Punka is said to have been a ocean-port
but it is almost 4,000 meters (13,000 ft.) above sea level
and it is just about 20 kilometres (12 miles) from the banks
of Lake Titiacaca. Titicaca is a land-locked salt-water sea,
with an abundance of oceanic creatures living in the lake,
and the area around is almost covered with fossilized sea
shells. Yellow-white deposits in long, straight lines shows
where the prehistoric water level was but they are tilted
- even if they once must have been level. The geologists say
that the uplift of the land must have happened about "100
million years ago". But who lived at that time to make
legends about it? And who made the ocean-harbour of enormous
stone blocks in a time when there supposedly were no humans
on Earth?
You find salt lakes many places in
the world, and some of them are high up in the mountains like
Lake Titicaca. Like Lake
Nam (Namtso, "Heavenly Lake") in Tibet.
The lake lies at an elevation of 4,718 m (15,479 ft) and has
a surface area of 1,920 km2 (740 sq mi). This salt lake is
the largest lake in the Tibet Autonomous Region. Well, it
was no surprise to me that there are ancient megaliths in
the area. And I also discovered that some of the megaliths
are simular to what we find other places in the world. The
round stone houses from ancient times called "bumpa"
looked very much like the ones on Easter Island (Rapa Nui)
called "tupa", and the ancient stones houses in
the mountains of Peru called "chupa". Very old gold
figurines had faces that looked like the statues on Easter
Island and South America, with squarish hair or hats. And
of course there are legends of giants that "in a time
before" had to retreat to underground cities because
of a world wide catastrophe. Yes, Hitler sent an expedition
to Tibet to find a race of superhuman tall people, the Aryans
(more about this a little later). You will find some
very tall people in Tibet even today and an interesting question
is if the reason is that Tibetan inherited a beneficial high-altitude
gene from archaic Denisovan people, as a new
research shows.
It is said that Lake Nam was "born"
in the Paleogene
age that began 66 million years ago and ended 23.03
million years ago, as a result of Himalayan tectonic plate
movements. The preceding age was the Cretaceous Period with
the large animals and plants. Well, you you have just seen
the Ica-stone depicting a tall human besides a dinosaur..!
Oldest hominin species
Lucy,
fund in Ethiopia in 1974 was for quite a long time the oldest
hominin species (Australopithecus afarensis ) to have been
found. Her bones were dated to be about 3.2 millions year
old. But she was far from any giant, Lucy (AL
288-1) was only about 107 centimeters (3'6")
tall and she had a brain about the size

Ardi, (Ardipithecus
ramidus) also found in Ethiopia, in 2008, beat Lucy's
record: Ardi is estimated have lived about 4.4 million years
ago, and to be about 120 centimetres tall. Lucy and Ardi were
fairly complete skeletons but there have been found smaller
parts of homoinin species that have been dated to be older.
Toumai (TM266
- Sahelanthropus tchadensis), also found in Africa,
seems to hold the record with about 7 million years. What
was found was a relatively small cranium, five pieces of jaw,
and some teeth. The braincase was 320 cm³ to 380 cm³,
while modern human's brain has a volume of 1350 cm³.
1.5 million years ago we had according
to the scientists developed from the "apeman" Ardipithecus
Ramidus to Homo Erectus, who was in average 1.79 meter (5
ft 10 in) tall - and then about half a million years ago to
Homo Heidelbergensis, who was a centimetre taller or so.
The Neanderthal (Homo
Neanderthalensis), who is believed to have lived from
about 600.000 to 20.000 years ago, was shorter with 1.65 (5
ft 5 in) meter in average. The Neanderthals had an average
cranial volume of 1600 cm3, notably larger than the average
for modern humans. The scientists have quite recently learned
that the Neanderthal was cleverer than earlier believed. This
archaic homo species most probably had a language, lived in
complex social groups, buried their dead, cooked the food
and made artistic drawings on cave walls.
Ever
heard about the Cro-Magnons? They were a hominin species that
is believed to have lived in Europe between 40,000 and 10,000
years ago. They were so simular to modern man that they no
longer is classified as an own species. But they were taller
and more muscular than modern man and had a larger brain.
Their brain capacity was about 1,600 cm3 , the same as the
Neanderthal man, but in their foreheads were fairly straight
and with only slight brow ridges. They hunted with spears,
javelins, and spear-throwers. Some ask if Cro-Magnon was a
hybrid race because it appeared so suddenly, - and if this
species was responsible
for the rapid development of civilisation in Europe; if they
were the gods of ancient times. The
Cro-Magnon is today believed to have stood on average 176.2
cm (5 feet 9 1/3 inches) tall but Cro-Magnon was earlier said
to have been more than 2 meters tall (7 feet). DNA-testing
of remains has identified the mtDNA as haplogroup N, typical
of the descendants in Central Asia.
The Cro-Magnon man was tall, but he
was dwarfed by Meganthropus - if he ever lived. Yes, there
are claims that Meganthropus was about 2.75 m (9 feet) tall!
Well, Meganthropus was a name given to several large jaw and
skull fragments found in Central Java, Indonesia in 1891 and
1892. It was at the time believed that Meganthropus had been
a separate hominin species and was given the scientific name
Meganthropus palaeojavanicus. But today the scientists say
that the Meganthropus fossils is falling within the variation
of Homo erectus with about the same hight, and shy away from
the suggestion that the "Java man" had been a species
of human giants. Meganthropus has lead to much controversy
in the scientific world for many years. Burned wood was found
in the layers with the Java Man fossils dating to around from
500,000 to 830,000 BP but hardly anybody believe that Meganthropus
lived that long ago.

If you
want to study fossilized remains after what we can call giants,
tall hominins, you can to travel to South Africa. Professor
Lee Berger is a renowned paleoanthropologist at the University
of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, and he can show you
bones of hominins that were at least 7 feet tall - and he
says that there are lot of them in South Africa: - These individuals
are extraordinary, they are giants, Berger
says.
He is quite sure that archaic humans
went to a period of what we can call gigantism about 350,000-400,000
years ago. He prefers to call then call them archaic Homo
Sapiens but says that some people refer to them as Homo Heidelbergensis.2
Channel One, the major broadcasting
company in Russia, had in 2008 a long news-report showing
how a team of researchers found giants human bones in Borjomi
in Georgia, close to the Caucasus mountains. The person in
the report showing the bones and telling that they belonged
to a giant estimated be between 2.50 to 3 meters tall (about
9 to 10 feet) is Prof. Dr. Abesalom Vekua. Unfortunately he
has now passed away
but he was a leading scientific researcher of the Georgian
National Museum and famous for finding human fossils in Dmanisi
dated to be 1.8 million years old. One of the members of the
expedition, Otar Baghaturia, has confirmed by email to me
that the news report indeed is true: - What we found exceeded
all expectations, he
wrote.
Reburied
Yes, there have been found quite a lot of bones of what we
can call ancient giants but a problem is that in some countries,
like the USA, all old human remains has been reburied because
of regulations like the American Graves Protection and Repatriation
Act of 1990. Another problem is that old skeletons very often
turn to dust when they are exposed to air. And of course,
like earlier mentioned; that bone can disintegrate fast.
You will find many articles in old
newspapers telling that large skeletons was found by well-known
archaeologists and sent to museums but very often the skeletons
have gone missing. Often together with registration of the
archaeological reports; something I have experienced myself
several
times when contacting the museums. Some say that this is because
mainstream science wants to suppress that our human history
is different to what we have learned in school, and that both
human remain and reports have been deliberately destroyed.
Yes, it can seem that we shall not know that tall hominins
have existed, - and I have myself been warned that my research
can be dangerous!
Mummified
Well,
some of the tall humans "from a time before" have
been mummified - either naturally by dry
air, peat
or frost - or artificial means.
I have already mentioned the mummies
of Egypt but there are others.
Excavations
in the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang province of western China have
uncovered more than 100 naturally mummified corpses, 2,400-4,000
years old; preserved by the arid climate of the Gobi desert.
Some of them were more than 2 meters tall, in spite of the
shrinkage during the many years, and European looking. The
mummies are still a kind of a mystery but DNA testing shows
that the mummies are of Haplogroup R1a (Y-DNA), characteristic
of western Eurasia in the area of East-Central Europe, Central
Asia and Indus Valley. Not Chinese.
In a private gold museum in Peru you
can see the mummified heads of pre-historic "Inca
kings". They are about twice as big as a normal
heads. The skeletons are not there any longer but the clothes
are, and they are of corresponding size. A tunic is over eight
feet tall and tailored to hang straight down and not intended
to drag on the floor behind the king. I was in touch with
the museum and asked about pictures found on the internet
and they at first confirmed that "this mummy is property
or our Museum" but when I explained more in another e-mail,
then they suddenly claimed that
historical
data found on the internet in most cases is false. Well, I
managed to get in touch with the son of the person who had
taken the pictures at the museum, Chase Kimball, and his
email to me was quite clear: "I just spoke to
my father, Glenn Kimball concerning this
email. Glenn is not a liar. He lived there for two years and
measured the mummies himself. It is interesting that every
time a skeleton or mummy of unusual size is found scientists
claim that they were just deformed because it doesn't conform
to what they believe to be natural human evolution."
Considered gods
Let
us take a closer look at the giants that the legends say came
from across the oceans after a great deluge or suddenly turned
up after a gigantic catastrophe. They were considered gods
because of their skills and because they were so tall. Very
often they had light skin, blond hair and blue eyes. They,
and/or their descendants very often became the rulers of the
countries where they lived.
Well,
we have already mentioned that several of the Egyptian pharaohs
were tall and Caucasian looking.
Horus was the principal God of ancient
Egypt and his right eye was associated with the sun god, Ra:
the so-called Wedjat Eye or Eye of Horus. It was always depicted
blue and was also a symbol of protection, royal power and
good health. Many of the pharaohs and other royals considered
themselves as descendants from the gods and many paintings
in and around tombs show them with blond hair and blue eyes.
The ancient Sumerians of Mesopotamia
thought that blue eyes were a sign of the gods and also that
the royal people often were fair haired and had blue eyes
- as many of the statues and busts of them show.
In Central- and South-America we have
legends of Viracocha, Kukulkan, Quetzalcoatl, Gucumatz, Votan
and Zamna. It is almost as if this god was one and same person;
being tall, bearded, with white skin, and emerald blue eyes.
There has quite recently been found a more than thousand years
old mummy in Huaca Pucllana pyramid ruins of Peru's with blue
eyes; "Lady
of the Mask".
Shiva,
is one of most important gods of Hinduism. The name Shiva
is meaning "The Auspicious One", but he is also
known as Mahadeva ("Great God"). He is usually depicted
with white skin and blue eyes, and often with a third eye
and bracelets of snakes. (when the Polynesian legends tell
that they came from their legendary home country of Hiva -
it could very well be they said "the land of Shiva",
since "s" and "h" often are interchanged
in polynesian dialects). Another major Hindu god was Buddha,
and also he was often depicted with blue eyes.
"Blazing fire"
It is not so easy to find anything about blue eyes or skin
colour in the Old Testament. We can read that Isaac got at
wife sent to him from Haram, - and that she, Rebekah,
was "very fair" but nothing about the eye colour
(Rebekah gave birth to twins Esau and Jacob - Esau had red
hair). Haran is usually identified with Harran,
an ancient Hurrian city within present-day Turkey.
From the New Testament (Revelation
1:14–16) we read that God's eyes were like "blazing
fire" and his face was like "the sun shining in
all its brilliance."
In Enoch 2 (The
Book of the Secrets of Enoch) we can read that two
Watchers, also called Shining Ones, appeared to Moses's father,
Amram,: "And there appeared two men very tall, such as
I have never seen on earth. And their faces shone like the
sun, and their eyes were like burning lamps"
Some claim that the reason that Enoch's
book was excluded from the Bible is that it contains information
on the true identity of the Shining Ones/Watchers: That they
were a race that had created mankind. They were of flesh and
blood and walked with the humans but were non-human. It is
also said that the Sumerian tablets tell that in the earliest
times of Mesopotamia all land were owned by these gods and
men were their slaves.
Adolf
Hitler and Madame Blavatsky
Well, you will find
these tall, blond and blue eyed gods in legends all over the
world. It was this ancient race of "supermen" that
Adolf Hitler and the Nazis tried
to recreate. It was in 1935 that Heinrich Himmler
& Co founded an institute that should research the history
of the Aryan race: They wanted to prove that the Aryans once
had ruled the world. Hitler sent out expeditions almost all
over the world to find remains of the Aryans - like to Tibet
and Antarctica. Hitler also wanted to recreate this super
race, and among Dr Mengele's ("The
Angel Of Death") bizarre experiments was to fuse
the eggs of twins in the mother's wombs to try to get offsprings
tall as giants. To mate strong blond and blue eyed men with
blond and blue eyed women was also a part of the program -
and they shall have kidnapped many hundred thousand blond-haired,
blue-eyed children from occupied countries.
But the idea of a white, blond-haired, blue-eyed Nordic looking
master race was not new; it was introduced in the United States
at least two decades
earlier.
Madame Blavatsky (Helena
Petrovna Blavatsky 1831 -1891) was the founder of
Theosophy and of many considered an enlightened guru. She
wrote: "The Aryan races, for instance, now varying from
dark brown, almost black, red-brown-yellow, down to the whitest
creamy colour, are yet all of one and the same stock - the
Fifth Root-Race - and spring from one single progenitor, who
is said to have lived over 18,000,000 years ago, and
also 850,000 years ago - at the time of the sinking of the
last remnants of the great continent of Atlantis."

Closer
to the gods
I have blue eyes and my hair was very blond when I was young
living in Norway. Nordic looking - even if I was not very
tall at all. My features might have been a big plus when I
sailed around from island to island in the Pacific because
the islanders often believed that I; a white man with blond
hair and especially blue eyes, was closer to the gods than
them (yes, on most islands they still secretly believed in
their old gods even if they went to church every day). But
I rather that the people like me for the person I am than
for the colour of my eyes!
Thor Heyerdahl heard as mentioned
legends of white, bearded gods all over the Pacific and he
followed the trace of them all the way to the Caucasus Mountains.
Often they legends of the Pacific
tells that they came from the east - and in Kiribati white
people today are called "imatang"; "people
from east". I found footprints of the giants that the
people of Kiribati believed had visited their islands in a
distant past - and the largest was as least twice the size
of my foot.
Yes, all over the Pacific the old men told
me their legends about the giants and showed me where they
were buried - and later when I settled down in Tuvalu two
Japanese archaeologists visiting the country were asked to
open the huge grave of a giant. But in the last minute the
digging was cancelled - the people thought it would be dangerous
to disturb the spirit of the giant (my daughter Sonia could
not believe that they were stopped; because it was the people
that had asked them to dig!). The unusually tall royal family
of Tonga used to be very proud of being descendants of the
giants - and up to quite resently they only could marry within
their family to keep the blood after them. Also many of the
members of the old chiefly families in Fiji are very tall.
All
had brown eyes
So where does the blue eyes come from? Well, an earlier belief
was that blue eyes was a simple recessive trait but in 2008
a new research found that it was a single genetic mutation
that had lead to blue eyes: - Originally, we all had brown
eyes, said Hans
Eiberg at Copenhagen University in Denmark.
His
reseach suggests that the mutation might have arisen
in the northwestern part of the Black Sea region, and that
the DNA indicates they blue eyed people may have a single
common ancestor. It is believed that this happened 6,000 to
10,000 years ago but Eiberg said it is difficult to calculate
the age of the mutation.
Blue eyes are quite common in northern
and eastern Europe, particularly around the Baltic Sea, but
blue eyes are also found in Southern Europe and Western Asia
- especially among the Jewish population of Israel. A study
of 1911 showed that 53.7% of Ukrainian Jews had blue eyes.
In Ireland and Scotland 86% of people have either blue or
green eyes.
Researchers
ask if the remains of a man that was discovered about 5,000ft
(1,500 meters) up in the mountains of north-west Spain in
2006 was those of the first blue eyed man. DNA taken from
a tooth showed that he had dark hair and skin, but deep blue
eyes. The experts were also astonished to find this ancient
man, named La Brana 1, had a combination of African and European
genes, showed genetic similarities to Scandinavians and also
shared a common ancestor with people who lived in Siberia
more than 20,000 years ago. La
Brana 1 was one of two unusually well preserved male
skeletons found in the La Brana-Arintero cave system and both
individuals have been dated to be around 7,000 years old.
The researchers now ask if the spread
of alleles associated with blue eyes might have preceded the
changes in skin pigmentation.
Struggle for power
We have all learned in school about the struggle for power
between the church and the kings in the old days, but what
has this struggle to do with giants?
Let us again look at the ancient Egypt.
During possessions statues of their gods were carried on the
shoulders of the priests, and the bystanders could come with
pleas. In the role of oracles the gods could give a yes or
no to the written questions, through the priests. Offerings
to the gods: like flowers and food, or votive stelae (monuments
to honour the gods) - even mummies of animals sacred to the
gods, should be made in the temple courts. This way the priests
took a role as self-appointed mediators between the (departed)
gods and the people: The priests could not make the gods come
back again but they said they could contact them in a spiritual
way. Yes, this mediating role gave the priests of Egypt (and
later the Christian church) both wealth and power!
So
what about the kings? The pharaohs were looked upon as divine
rulers - kings that deputized for the gods. They were even
believed to be sons of the gods, and that they could make
sure the Nile gave them water and fertile soil and keep their
people safe. As mediators between ordinary humans and the
gods they, as the priests, had enormous power. And of course
the people had to bring the pharaohs offerings and work hard
to keep them happy. By the way - have
you noticed that the pharaohs always are depicted with false
beards? Even the female pharaoh Hatshepsut used a false beard
- and it was not to look like a man. The aim of the beard
was to link themselves to the gods by imitating their appearance!
Yes, we can easily see that there
would be a power struggle in ancient Egypt between the priests
and the kings. Both parties claimed to have contact with the
gods - in a spiritual way or a more physical. When the years
passed it of course became more and more difficult for the
pharaohs to claim that they had the blood from the gods -
getting children with slaves and commoners made the royal
families look like ordinary people and not like the tall,
blond gods! The priests also had their problems - they could
not make the gods come back again in a physical form and it
was not always that the predictions from their oracles were
successful. A smart trick was of course to claim that the
gods had departed to a spiritual heaven up in the sky since
they no longer came down from the mountains to help the people.
The gods that has been physical beings on Earth suddenly became
a supernatural entity nobody could see!
Egypt is the best example of the start
of the power struggle because there are so much left after
the ancient rulers in form of mummies, statues, steles and
hieroglyphs, drawings etc. But I believe you could find a
simular development many places in the world where the legends
say that gods once had walked on Earth together with ordinary
humans.
The missing link
When the
tall beings that were called gods in ancient times, because
of their appearance, knowledge and superior technology, disappeared
it seems that the problems fairly quick mounted up. The children
that the sons that the gods had begot with the daughters of
men would of course have tried to remember how their forefathers
had made the megalithic structores and impressive items, it
but might be they neither had the physical strength, the mental
capacity or the necessary tools.
The gods had, according to scriptures
and legends, helped the ordinary people to change their lives
from being food collectors living from what they could find
to being farmers and fishermen. They built houses instead
of seeking shelter from the sun under trees and from rain
and cold in caves. The people changed from living in families
or small tribes to live in large societies where the gods
could help them, but when the gods left they were too many
in one place ands without their help they would many times
face starvation. So most probably they "invented"
religion with the hope that their prayers could make the gods
come back to help them.
That gods that were very tall once
had lived on our planet was the common belief even among scientists
before Charles Darwin in 1859 presented his theory saying
that natural selection was the cause of evolution: Humans
had evolved from apes. Over a long, long period of time we
had changed from walking like apes to walk upright, from putting
fruits in the mouth to cracking nuts, from using a stone to
crack the nuts to invent a nutcracker… yeah, you got
the picture. Suddenly the giants of the legends, Bible and
other religious scriptures were just myths, fairy tales and
fantasy.
Well, might be we humans have had a development
like the evolutionists say but might be creationists in a
way are right too? Might be the "missing link" are
the gods that in a way created us homo sapiens sapiens by
the help of DNA experiments and then showed
us how to use fig leaves as clothes and how to make tools?
Something
has happened that does not fit in the normal way of looking
at evolution; from smaller to bigger, from simple to complex.
The pyramids in Egypt were getting smaller and smaller instead
of larger and larger, the stone walls of Peru were getting
less and less impressive, the statues of Easter Island were
getting less and less polished. And suddenly the knowledge
on how to make the megalithic structures and items was gone.
Without the gods the humans had to manage by themselves.
Those who had been leading the societies
because of their traits from the gods; the height, the blond
hair and the blue eyes, came in conflict with the priests
that had served the gods. The kings cling to the statement
that they were descendants of the gods and married within
the royal family to keep their blood. The priests claimed
that the gods now lived in a spiritual heaven up in the sky
(and not on a mountain as originally believed) - and that
they still had contact with them by prayers and that they
could help people to get help from the gods..
The Norse god Odin
The Ynglinga
saga was written by Snorri
Sturluson (1179 -1241) on Iceland in the 13th century.
Snorri was a historian, poet and politician (elected twice
as lawspeaker of the Icelandic parliament). He suggested that
the mythological gods had been human kings and war leaders.
That their funeral sites developed cults and that the king
or warrior finally was remembered only as a god.
Thor Heyerdahl believed that Snorri
might have been right - and asked if it was a very smart and
very human chief (and tall?) that had taken the same name
as the Norse god Odin when he immigrated to Scandinavia from
the eastern side of the Black Sea to escape from the Roman
expansion ("The
Search for Odin") .
Heyerdahl
got a lot of critique for this theory but Heyerdahl travelled
to where he believed that the chief might have come from.
And during the first excavation in year 2000 his archaeologists
found more than 35,000 ancient objects. Among them was a ring-pin
to fasten garments dated to 1st-2nd centuries AD and a sword
from the same period. And they showed that it clearly had
been a connection between the steppe region of the Black Sea
and Scandinavia.
The sagas written by Snorri tell that
the Viking chiefs and kings often were blond, blue eyed and
tall - in a
period
of time where common people had a bit darker complexion and
were short. The most famous Viking ship of Norway, the Oseberg
ship, had many beautifully crafted grave goods - and also
skeletons of two women; both exceptionally tall. It has been
speculated that the oldest woman might have been Queen
Åsa, the grandmother of the first Norwegian
king; Harald Fairhair. Timber in the grave chamber dates
the burial to 834 AD, and DNA sequenced from bones
of the youngest woman showed haplogroup U7 - she/they most
probably came from the district around the Black Sea. In another
Viking ship, the Gokstad ship, it was found a skeleton of
a chief or king that would have been almost 2 meters tall.
The royal men very often got children
with women that were commoners so their blood quite quickly
must have been thinned out. But the Ahmad
ibn Fadlan, a 10th-century Arab traveler wrote about
the Norse vargangians he met in the Tatarstan territories
in Russia, to the northeast of the Black Sea: "I have
never seen more perfect physical specimens, tall as date palms,
blond and ruddy"
A famous Viking was Ganger Rolv -
Rollo the Walker - so called because he was such a giant that
no horse strong was enough to carry him. Ganger
Rolv (about 850 -930) was born of noble Norwegian
linage and he became the first ruler of Normandie, a region
of France. Rollo was the forefather of the Duke of Normandy
who conquered England and thus also the forefather of the
English royal family of today.
Scythians?
Could the tall "gods" - with blue eyes, fair skin
and blonde hair - that became the kings of Norway and so many
other places in the world have been Scythians?
The Scythians were according to Wikipedia
"a large group of Iranian Eurasian nomads who were mentioned
by the literate peoples surrounding them as inhabiting large
areas in the central Eurasian steppes from about the 9th century
BC until about the 1st century BC. The "classical Scythians"
known to ancient Greek historians were located in the northern
Black Sea and fore-Caucasus region. Other Scythian groups
documented by Assyrian, Achaemenid and Chinese sources show
that they also existed in Central Asia, where
they were referred to as the Iskuzai/Askuzai."
One Scythian
legend tells that the first Scythian
king, Targitaus, was the child of the sky-god and
the daughter of the river Dnieper.
Targitaus shall have lived a thousand years before the Persian
invasion of Scythia - around 1,500 BC. Another legend tells
that the first Scythian king was a child of the Greek giant
Hercules (son of the god Zeus) and Echidna (half human, half
god - half beautiful maiden, half fearsome snake). Other legends
tell that the Scythian came from the southern part of Central
Asia but had to move westwards because of wars with other
tribes.
Senior researcher Andrew Gregorovich
at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre in Toronto has studied the
Scythians for more the 35 years. Gregorovich says that the
ancient Kingdom of Scythia existed in Ukraine between 700
and 200 B.C., and writes in his introduction to "Scythian
Mysteries". "Originally it was thought for
over two thousand years that the Scythians were a short, yellow,
Mongol people who had come from central Asia but archeologists
now know that "The Scythians
were a tall, white European people whose kings were 2 metres
(6'6") tall."

The
Scythian buried their dead in burial mounds called "kurgan"
(derived from "castle") and kurgans have been found
from Mongolia to Balkans, through Ukrainian and south Russian
steppes. Some kurgans reveal traces of Greek, Chinese and
Indian craftsmanship, - and the archaeologist have been surprised
to find extremely rich jewellery, very often made of exquisite
gold (one kurgan had 1,200 gold artefacts). In the kurgan
called Sengileevskoe-2 they also found gold bowls with coatings
indicating a strong opium beverage was used while cannabis
was burning nearby. Well, a small leather bag full of cannabis
was also found in the Oseberg ship and it is believed that
the older woman used it as a pain reliever - or to get in
touch with her gods.
The Scythians may have given rise
to the Greek stories of Amazons, the tall women that fought
like men. Graves of armed females have been found in southern
Ukraine and Russia - and yes they were tall!
Altai
region of Mongolia
DNA
of ancient Scythian warriors who lived more than 2,000 years
ago in the Altai
region of Mongolia showed that there had been a blending between
Asians and Europeans. And it is now thought that this blending
was a result of expansion of Central Asian populations and
not due to an eastwards European migration as earlier believed.
The Altai
Mountains (meaning Gold Mountains) is a mountain range
in Central Asia, where Russia, Kazakhstan, China and Mongolia
come together. The highest mountain is Khüiten Peak in
Mongolia with 4,374 m.
Just north of the Mongolian border
is Altai Krai. Part of the Altai Mountains but in the in the
souther part of Siberia, and a republic (federal subject)
of Russia. The ethnicity of the republic is according to Wikipedia
unclear; proposals by scholars include Turkic, Mongolic, Yeniseian,
Tocharian, Iranian and Uralic.
Denisova
cave
In 2008 russian archaelogists found ancient bones in the Denisova
cave in Altai Krai. The cave is located 670 m above
the sea level. What was first found was a small bone fragment
from the pinkie finger of a young hominin. The bone fragment
was sent to the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig, Germany,
for genetic analysis. The researchers were shocked; the finger
was not human! It was a remnant of a previously unknown hominin,
distinct from both early modern humans and Neanderthals. There
were also excavated artefacts close to the bones at the same
level that were carbon dated to around 40.000 BP.
Later
two other fossils were found that contain DNA similar to that
of the finger bone, both of them molars. The first tooth was
bigger
than a modern human tooth or even a Neanderthal tooth, and
the second molar had a chewing surface twice that of a human
molar. It was so big that the paleoanthropologists first mistook
it for a cave bear tooth!
The teeth had been found the same
cave chamber that had yielded the finger bone, near the bottom
of the same layer of deposits. The finger bone had belonged
to a female, and it was unusually broad and robust, well outside
what is seen in modern people.
New state-of-the-art DNA
analysis suggested that the girl lived at least 50.000
years ago and that two other Denisova individuals died in
the cave at least 110,000 years ago - and perhaps as early
as 170,00 years ago!
Very
beautiful bracelet

The fossil (finger bone) was found with modern technology
and ornaments, including a very beautiful bracelet, one of
the researchers said.
The bracelet that was made of polished
dark green chloritolite. It was delicately shaped, highly
polished, and demonstrated a high level of technological skills;
a hole for a pendant less than 8 mm wide was drilled with
a tapered drill that must have been running with considerable
speed!
- The bracelet is stunning - in bright
sunlight it reflects the sun rays, at night by the fire it
casts a deep shade of green, said Anatoly Derevyanko, Director
of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography in Novosibirsk.
How
does this make any sense? Non-humans that used advanced human
technology and made fancy jewellery? The scientists suggest
that the Denisovans were more advanced than Homo sapiens and
Neanderthals but they have no explanations to why they had
such skills and used modern techniques!
Very tall?
Findings
in and around the cave also show that Denisovans,
Neanderthals and
Homo Sapiens lived more or less together in the area at the
same time in
pre-history - and that they interbred. And by comparing the
genomes the scientists also believe that the earliest Denisovans
interbred with a yet-to-be-identified
relative of the modern humans.
We do not know how the Denisovans
looked like but the extremely large teeth and finger bone
have made the researchers suggest that they must have been
"extremely robust". Hmm, what about saying straight
out that they must have been very tall?
In another article I have asked if
Denisova giants were the first, very tall, kings of Egypt
and if their advanced technology "capsized" the
Earth. Was it the Denisovans that the Homo Sapians, us humans,
called gods? It this the reason why the children that "the
sons of the gods begot with the daughters of men" according
to the Bible were giants?
Or might be it was the unknown race
of hominins?

"Search
for the Lost Giants"
In 2015 the History Channel aired a series called "Search
for the Lost Giants"; and I was presented as an explorer
and researcher in an episode called "The
Giant Curse".
In the program it was said that my
theory was that the Denisovans had moved southeast from the
Altai Mountains to the coast, out in the Pacific Ocean and
then island hopped until they reached the Americas.
Well, resent research has shown that
east Indonesians, and the Mamanwa group of the Philippines,
have all inherited genetic material from Denisovans, and so
has the ancestors the people of the Pacific island nations
of Papua New Guinea, Bougainville, Cook Islands, Futuna, Niue,
Samoa, Tokelau, Tonga and Tuvalu. And so do Aboriginal Australians.
Plus some native Indians of North America. So my theory seems
to hold but there is one strange thing about it all: There
are very little Denisova DNA found in east and central Asian
besides the DNA found in the Altai Mountains - and east and
central Asia the place where they should have started out
from!
What if it was the other way around?
That the legends telling that the people of the Pacific islands
had to flee because of a catastrophe that made the sea rise
rapidly are true? That it once was a large continent in the
Pacific, like Mu
as James
Churchward claimed, that disappeared in the ocean
and that the people had to do island hopping on the sinking
continent to the reach the mainland of the Americas, Asia
and Australia.
The sons of Noah
Let us go back to the Christian Bible, to Genesis
9:18: "Now the sons of Noah who came out of the
ark were Shem and Ham and Japheth; and Ham was the father
of Canaan. These three were the sons of Noah, and from these
the whole earth was populated."
Many have wondered why the sentence
"and Ham was the father of Canaan" was added - and
some scholars suggest that the reason was that Ham had intercourse
with his father's wife.
The biblical story
goes that Noah after planting a wine yard had been drinking
too much wine and fell asleep naked in his tent. Ham saw him
and told his two brothers about it. The brothers went backwards
into the tent and put a peace of clothing over Noah so that
nobody should see his nakedness. When Noah woke up he did
not thank his sons but cursed Ham and the son he would get;
Canaan (- with his wife).
Yes, Canaan seems to have inherited
some bad blood. Not only did he settle in a land that was
not given to him, from Lebanon to Egypt, his descendants the
Amorites were according to the Book of Jubilees (xxix
9:11) not very nice people: "the Amorites dwelt
in their stead, wicked and sinful, and there is no people
to-day which has wrought to the full all their sins, and they
have no longer length of life on the earth". In the Book
of Deuteronomy (3:11)
the king Og of the Amorites is described as the last of the
giants (here named Rephaites). Yes, you remember king Og?
And what about
Noah's other grandchildren? Well, Ham's son Cush was according
to Genesis
10:8 "the father of Nimrod, who became a mighty
warrior on the earth". The original word for "mighty"
was "gibbor" - and "gibbor"
has several connotations; the Jewish translators of the Hebrew
bible to the Septuagint rendered the word as “giant”.
Ham's other son Mizraim fathered Caphtor, the ancestor of
the Philistines and the Caphtorim. Goliath was a giant Philistine
warrior and the Bible (2
Samuel 21:15–22) mentions four more Philistine
giants who were relatives of Goliath. The Capthorim
shall have been a shorter race of giants.

Gog and Magog in parade

Also
Japheth seems to have fathered a generation of giants, especially
through the two eldest sons Gomer and Magog. They shall have
lived to the north of Caucasus Mountains but came in conflict
with each other. Gomer's descendants first had to migrate
to the area around the Black Sea but were driven to west by
Magog's descendants (that later were called Scythians) - some
say even over the ocean to the Americas. Noah's third son
was Shem, and one his sons were Elam. Elam is the ancient
name for Iran. "Aryan" is an ancient form of "Iran"
- and we remember how Adolf Hitler tried to recreate Aryan
supermen!
The names of the grandsons of Noah
is today most often considered to be the names of group of
people and not individuals - or the areas where the people
came from. The Captorium is probably meant to be the giants
from Crete; most scholars consider Caphtor to be the ancient
name for Crete and the surrounding islands. Yes, we remember
that Crete is called "the island of giants"! Mizraim
is the Hebrew and Aramaic name for the land of Egypt, so it
can be that some of descendants of Noah came from came from
Egypt - or moved to Egypt.
Got it all wrong
Some scholars suggest that Ham had blood from destructive
giants - giants that God wanted to eradicate with the Flood.
But what if we have got it all wrong?
Remember why Noah had to build an
ark? Here it is (Genesis
6:6): "The LORD saw how great the wickedness
of the human race had become on the earth, and that every
inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil
all the time." And then (Genesis
6:7): "So the LORD said, "I will wipe from
the face of the earth the human race I have created - and
with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move
along the ground - for I regret that I have made them."

Most
Christian scholars believe that God saved Noah because he
was a righteous man who God felt pity for. But remember that
the scriptures say that Noahs was a strange child, who his
father believed was conceived by the Watchers/The Heavenly
Beings. It is also written that he was "the eight";
the eight major patriarch in straight line from Adam. And
that "he walked with God" (- or more correct "he
walked with the gods"). Yes, it is written that God (the
gods) found only one godly family left among the people on
Earth; that of Noah.
So might be that Noah, and even his
wife, their sons and daughters, had the blood from a race
of giants/gods - that he/they were Nephilim (or even Elohim)?
Was it important for the gods to save Noah and his family;
so that they could repopulate the world, - not with wicked
human blood but with the blood of themselves; the Elohim -
the gods?
What colour is God's skin
"What
colour is God's skin" is the title of a song
from the 1960s. Well, the answer in the children's song is
"it's black, brown, it's yellow, it is red, it is white".
But is must be hard for the kids to
imagine a God with that many skin colours… And when they
ask where God lives, then we point up to heaven; - but the
kids see nothing there but the clouds, the sun and the blue
sky!
And
we adults? Well, many people kind of think of an old, wise
man that we cannot see but lives in a kind of theological
heaven. A kind of spirit we only pray to, even if he most
often not seems to answer our prayers - at least not with
a voice we can hear. Yes, it must be hard for many people
of today's technical world to believe in a God that seems
as unreal as Donald Duck!
It was much easier in the very, very
old days; some time before Christianity. People could see
the gods because they lived with them. The gods taught them
how to farm, how to make houses and how write. The people
knew their names, the names of their wives and their children.
They knew how that looked and how they dresses - and they
knew what were the gods duties and special skills. And the
people often knew who of the male gods that got children with
ordinary women; semi-deities that also might be able to help
out if needed (like in wars) because they were so tall and
strong. Semi-deities that often became their kings/emperors/rulers/chiefs
- also because of their skills and wisdom.

Let us
just take three samples from Europe:
Nabu
was an important Babylonian god. He was the firstborn son
to (the god) Marduk and his spouse Sarpanitum - and Ea's (the
god of wisdom) grandson. He had two consorts: Tashmetum and
Nissaba. Nabu resided in his temple of Ezida in Borsippa,
and was the god of wisdom and writing. He was also Marduk's
minister and keeper of the Tablets of Destiny, which recorded
the fate of mankind. Nabu's influence on Mesopotamian culture
is significant well into the later periods - and he appears
in the Bible as Nebo. Nabu shall have been introduced to Mesopotamia
by the Amorites just after 2000 BC.
I have earlier mentioned Gilgamesh
who was a Sumrian demigod. He was the son of Lugalbanda and
Ninsumun, both of the godly line. Gilgamesh's son was according
to the Sumerian king list Urlungal of Uruk; the sixth Sumerian
ruler in the First Dynasty of Uruk (ca. 26th century BC).
Gilgamesh was a giant of superhuman strength. He shall have
built walls of the city Uruk to defend his people. Gilgamesh
and his son shall have rebuilt the sanctuary of the goddess
Ninlil in her city of Nippur. He shall also have travelled
to meet the sage Utnapishtim, who survived the Great Flood.
Gilgamesh is generally seen by scholars as a historical figure,
and if he existed, he probably was a king who reigned sometime
between 2800 and 2500 BC.
Hercules
is the Roman name for the Greek hero and demigod Heracles,
who was the son of the major god Zeus. His mother was a mortal
woman named Alcmene, the wife of Amphitryon (the king of Thebes),
and was conceived while Amphitryon was away. Zeus is the son
of Cronus and Rhea. Cronus is the son of the earth goddess
Gaia and the sky god Uranus, while Rhea was his sister (and
wife). Hercules/Heracles was famous for his strength and the
many adventures fighting beasts, and for aiding the gods in
their war against the Giants
(which earned him immortality and a life among the gods at
Olympus). Hercules/Heracles was a giant of a man and he fathered
countless children.
Basis in reality
Most people consider stories like the above being just ancient
fairy tales; myths that has nothing to do with reality. But
in older times people believed them to be true and in resent
times several important archaeological discoveries has been
done because researches wanted to figure out if the myths/legends/biblical
stories could have some basis in reality - like the finding
of biblical Troy and the walls of Jericho. Yes, Thor Heyerdahl
followed the legends from the Pacific islands all the way
to the Caucasus Mountains and it seems quite clear that he
was on the right track looking for the ancient "white,
bearded gods"!
"The
Kolbrin Bible, also dubbed the Bronzebook or Coelbook,
is the only remaining document of its kind to narrate
the entire story of the human genesis, from the first
people who walked on Earth prior to the arrival of Adam
and Eve, to the great Egyptian rulers. According to
this ancient text, the term “Fallen Angel”
mentioned in Genesis refers to mortal men who married
the daughters of Adam and Eve and had children together,
instead of the common belief of holy or angelic beings.
It’s
also mentioned that these men descended from a highly
advanced earthly society which survived the early cataclysms
by hiding in underground shelters. They were known as
“The Sons of God” and the above-mentioned
catastrophe came as a result of their actions."

Of
course; the contents of many stories have changed quite a
bit from the original because they first were told from mouth
to mouth for hundreds or even thousands of years - but the
storytelling was the ancient days' internet, newspapers and
history books. Often the stories were made in to poems, songs
or rhythmic verses to make it easier to remember them. The
stories of the gods and the demigods were the most important
to remember and some royal families can even today trace their
ancestry all the way back to them.
Let us go back to Noah: Noah had three
sons; Shem, Ham, and Japheth - no daughters. From these three
sons and their wives (it was eight people onboard the ark)
Noah got sixteen grandsons - no granddaughters. Yes, these
sixteen grandchildren - all male - went according to the Bible
out to repopulate the world. And what about the very first
people on Earth? Well, God created Adam in his own image and
then Eve is created from one of Adam's ribs to be his companion.
Adam and Eve are listed as having three children, Cain, Abel
and Seth, - and then "other sons and daughters".
You will find the phrase "other sons and daughters"
also when it comes to Noah's grandchildren but it always seems
such a strange adherance that I wonder it this is something
that has been introduced to the scriptures at a later stage.
Most people say that the male dominance
in the scriptures (hmmm…even when it comes to "God
our Father" - not "Mother"..) is because the
male dominant societies of the older times - that the ladies
were hardly worth mentioning. I am far from sure this is so.
Daughters of God
We have read about the sons of God
but where will you find daughters of God? Remember Genesis
6:2?: "That the sons of God saw the daughters
of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all
which they chose." And Book of Enoch where the 200 watchers/fallen
angels/sons of God took human wives?
Might be the sons of God had trouble
finding women of their own race - and not that the daughters
of the God were so ugly that they preferred blond human girls??
Or might be God only had sons - that his genes/sperm predominantly
produced males (and remember that "God" originally
was "Gods")?
Well, the God(s) of the Bible definitely
knew that it had to be one of each gender to get offsprings;
in Genesis
6:19-20 he instructs Noah to bring two of every kind
onboard the ark!
"Who
am I?"
It
is about time to get to what is said to be the two most important
questions for every living person: "Who am I?",
"Where did I come from?"
Today's
Christian Bible tells us that God created us. But remember
that it originally was written "the gods" and that
the same - that there were humanlike beings that created humans
looking like them - is found in so many legends and religions
all over the world.
The scientific answer
to the first question is that you are a Homo sapiens (latin:
"wise person") - or rather a Homo sapiens sapiens
which is the full term for us moden humans, and excludes Neanderthals
and other extinct species of the genus Homo.
The scientists' answer to where you
come from is a little more diffuse - there are now two main
theories: The one that has been lasting the longest is that
we are of recent
African origin; that archaic humans evolved to anatomically
modern humans solely in Africa between 200,000 and 60,000
years ago (but Neanderthal DNA account for 1-4 percent of
the genome of the modern humans found in Eurasia but is very
uncommon or absent in most Sub-Sahara African people). A bit
more resent is the theory that we are of multiregional
origin; that the human species first arose around
two million years ago and subsequent evolution has been within
a single, continuous human species. But since 2010, genetic
research has led to an intermediate position; mostly recent
African origin plus limited admixture with archaic humans;
through interbreeding of modern humans with Neanderthals,
Denisovans, and/or possibly other archaic humans.
Not any wiser?
Well, DNA-research the very last years (this
aricle is written in 2016) have made the picture even more
unclear.

is a little bit more specific: "Deoxyribonucleic acid
(DNA) is a molecule that carries most of the genetic instructions
used in the growth, development, functioning and reproduction
of all known living organisms and many viruses."
A new
study at Standford suggests that the humans "were
able to spread out and take over the world because of a new
DNA change (or mutation) that popped up in their DNA 85,000
or so years ago." And that it was this change/mutation
that made the ancient humans move from Africa (the most common
theory is that Homo sapiens moved out of Africa around 100,000
years ago, spread across Asia around 60,000 years ago and
arrived on new continents and islands since then).
What can change the DNA?

The Tech: "Mutations happen in many ways. Every
cell in your body has a complete set of DNA, which copies

simple copying errors or "typos" that are made when
DNA makes copies of itself. These can happen at any "letter"
or nucleotide and are random."
So what can cause this "typos";
is it just a random error that can happen to humans at any
time? Is it anything in our environment that can cause the
changes?

The Tech: "The environment can also cause DNA mutations.
Sunlight, cigarette smoke, and radiation are all known to
cause changes to our DNA. These are also random and can happen
anywhere in the DNA sequence. Sometimes these mutations don't
change a gene at all and the protein stays the same."

M. Schoch is not only suggesting
that major plasma events on the sun could have caused widespread
floodings like the story in Genesis, but that also the human
race could have been seriously affected. He explains that
the plasma discharges are electrical in nature - and that
laboratory studies has shown that plant seeds and fish eggs
that is subjected to strong electrical fields can be altered
genetically. He asks if the humans that survived plasma outbursts
from the sun could have been altered genetically, mentally,
and physically. He asks if this could have happened at the
end of the last ace age about 12,000 years ago but also if
such plasma events could have wiped out very advanced civilizations
in much, much earlier times.

The theory
of human evolution says that between 8 and 4 million
years ago; first the gorillas and then the chimpanzees "split
from the line leading to humans". Human DNA is about
94 percent identical to that of chimpanzees. New evidence
suggests that our earliest apelike ancestors started walking
on two legs because it required less energy; and that this
lead to new pattern of behaviour and eventually a bigger brain.
The
most resent theory is that there were about 15 to 20 different
species of very early humans but that the majority simply
died out.
Homo
habilis, which is believed
to have evolved about 2.8 million years ago, is said to have
been the first species to use stone tools. The brain of Homo
habilis shall have been about the same size as a chimpanzee,
half that of a modern human; about 640 cm³. It
has been suggested that this was
the time in which the human SRGAP2
gene doubled, and during
the next million years or so the cranial capacity of the very
first hominins had doubled to 850 cm3. It has been said that
this lead to the arrival of Homo
erectus; the first standing human; Homo erectus then
evolved to more advanced humans - and finally to us modern
Homo
sapiens sapiens.

The
very common illustration of our family tree from monkeys to
modern man (to the right) shows that not only did we get bigger
brains but we also became taller and taller. Well, you and
I know that this is not 100 percent correct; we did not become
gradually taller and taller; we had some "ups and downs"!
And we of course remember that this also goes for the size
of the brain. An example is the "Skull
1470" discovered in 1972 in Kenya, Africa. There
has been a couple of reconstructions done of the fragments
found - and plenty of discussions
about this - but the first

was that the skull was nearly
3 million years old and had a brain case of almost 800 cm3.
This does not of course fit very well with the theory of evolution
- the 1470-man lived at the same time as, or before, Homo
habilis and should have a much, much smaller brain (and less
modern looking skull)! So the controversy has lasted for many
years, but most scientists today claim that 1470 was a Homo
rudolfensis - a species that co-existed in northern
Kenya with three other species (Homo
habilis, Homo
erectus, and Paranthropus
boisei) sometime between 2.0 and 1.5 million years
ago.
I believe that the scientists should
take another look at all the fossil records and get everything
correct. But it seems like they do not want to - of one reason
or another.
Became
extinct
In Wikipedia there is an article about archaic human admixture
with modern humans, and we can read
the following: "No evidence of Neanderthal mitochondrial
DNA has been found in modern
humans. This would suggest that successful admixture with
Neanderthals happened paternally rather than maternally on
the side of Neanderthals. Possible hypotheses are that Neanderthal
mtDNA had detrimental mutations that led to the extinction
of carriers, that the hybrid offspring of Neanderthal mothers
were raised in Neanderthal groups and became extinct with
them, or that female Neanderthals and male Sapiens did not
produce fertile offspring".
To say it in a more understandable
way; the Neanderthal man could get fertile babies with the
Homo Sapiens women but the Neanderthal women could not get
fertile babies with Homo Sapiens men!
Remember that the Bible says that
the sons of the gods saw that the daughters of men were fair
and that they took them to their wives? So might be the sons
of the gods were Neanderthals?
Not forget the Denisovans
In this mix of archaic human races we must not forget the
Denisovans;
the human archaic rase which I earlier have mentioned. Even
if we do not much about them since very few remains have been
found, we know from the findings in the Denisova cave in Siberia
that they had a high level of technological skills.
It is believed that the Neanderthals
arose in Europe and Asia about 250,000 years ago (some say
400,000 years ago), and it was earlier thought that they had
Eurasia to themselves until Homo Sapiens replaced them about
40.000 years ago. Well, DNA discovered recently in Spain shows
that Denisovans at some point in time resided in Western Europe,
where Neanderthals were previously thought to be the only
inhabitants. This is not a surprise to me since we for some
time has known that ancient Denisovans managed to find their
way to Africa, the Pacific islands, Australia and the Americas!
DNA-testing shows that the Neanderthals
and Denisovans were very closely related, and it is believed
that they died out at about the same time. It is also believed
that they interbred with modern humans. Into this mix of ancient
hominin linage also comes the DNA (nuclear genome) of a yet
to be identified homo species.
Could the Denisovans have been the
tall ones - the giants? Or might be the unidentified homo
species?
"Homo sapiens superior"
Some
people still ask about the missing link in human evolution:
- Where is the species that supposedly is the cross between
monkeys an humans?
Well, modern scientists believe that
there is more than enough evidence that the monkeys (primates)
developed to Homo sapiens. Might be because they developed
because were forced to stand up on two feet and use their
brain in another way than before. Might be because changing
climate. And they point to that there were many of the first
homo species that died out: "The number of extinct side-branches
is much larger than the number of true genealogical connections
in the fossil record, and so when we find a fossil, we don't
assume it's an ancestor of anything we interpret it as a sister
group of some things, says paleoanthropologist John Hawks
at the University of Wisconsin.
Well,
have you heard about "Homo sapiens superior"? I
had not, - not before I mostly for fun made a web search for
fictive homo-names/rases. "Homo
sapiens superior" is a name from books and other
media published by Marvel Entertainment: "Superhumans
- humans born with a genetic anomaly that grants them an extra-normal
ability not possessed by normal humans". Most of these
superhumans in the fantasy world owe their powers to celestials;
"cosmic entities who visited Earth millions of years
ago and experimented on our prehistoric ancestors". Yes,
almost like Sacharia Sitchin suggested but Sitchin did not
give the new race of humans superpowers, they were slaves!
The superhumans from the Marvel books
are also called "mutants". Could a cross between
a primate and an archaic human be the forefather of the mysterious
rase that the scientists says we now nothing about? A tall
race that had a even higher technology than the Denisovans?
That died out, might be because they were hybrids with poor
reproduction capabilities? Or might be cause their technology
was so advanced that it went against the ecology of our planet
- that they made themselves extinct in a catastrophe they
unwillingly created?
Considered
divine beings
As
you have seen: We have legends all over the world telling
about human giants, from the mountains of northern Tibet to
the southern tip of South America. Most places they were considered
divine beings, because
of their size, their knowledge and technology.
Very often they were
said to be survivors of a gigantic catastrophe, and that they
rebuilt the civilisation after memory.
It seems to have been only male survivors, so they married
human women - and that their offsprings became the rulers
(kings, chiefs, emperors, pharaohs) of the countries where
they turned up (often from across the sea). These semidivine
giants were usually from 2-2.5 meters tall (7-8 feet) tall.
And they rebuilt their civilisation from memory and by the
help of the local humans.

There
are proof that very tall human beings have lived; we have
found bones after them - even mummies. And we have descriptions
and drawings of living giants by the European explorers -
even pictures like the ones of the giants
of Patagonia!
So we know quite a lot about the demigod
that seems to have ruled the world after a gigantic catastrophe
but what about the gods - their fathers? Well, we have some
information about some of them, like the earlier mentioned
Nabu, the Babylonian god of wisdom and writing, and also a
principal deity of the Assyrians. He is definitely depicted
as very tall; in some cases more than 3 meters (10 feet).
And as many local gods from the ancient times; he is sometimes
depicted with six
fingers and hands clasped between the navel and the
stomach. Nebu rode a sacred dragon that his father Marduk
taken over from Tishpak,
the local god of Eshnunna: Sirrush
(Mušuššu).
We have statues depicting some of
the local gods from the time before the catastrophe/deluge,
and some additional information about the first kings and
the deities before them can be found in old king lists of
Sumer and Egypt: The Sumerian
King list from ancient southern Iraq tells that the
first kingship was handed down from the gods. Is is often
said that the predynastic antediluvian kings is fiction but
list is quite accepted for later dates and kings. The early
list names eight kings that ruled a total of 241,200 years
from the fist kingship to the flood swept over the land. Alulim
was the first king and the god Enki is said to have brought
civilization to Sumer at about this time (some believe that
Alulim was Adam of the Bible). After the flood the "kingship
was lowered from heaven" once more. The Turian
King list from Egypt lists a "reign of the gods"
which occurred 36,620 years before the Menes, the founding
pharaoh of the first dynasty. He shall have united Upper and
Lower Egypt about 3050 BC (Manetho dates the reign of the
god Ptah to 36,525 years before Menes). The Palermo
Stone is a stela of black basalt supposedly engraved
toward the end of the 5th dynasty (twenty-fifth century BC).
It also has a list of list of gods and kings in ancient Egypt
until the time of the god Horus, who shall have given the
throne to pharaoh Menes. It also documents a number of early
gods, such as Min
and Heryshef
(Arsaphes), both fertility gods.
Took the name of the creator god
We do not have simular ancient king lists in other places
of the world and legends about the gods were brought back
from the Americas, Asia and the Pacific by the first European
explorers, tradesmen and missionaries. And often the legends
were about the gods that created the humans after a gigantic
catastrophe/deluge - like the Chinese goddess Nüwa
(Nügua) that created mankind and repaired the
broken pillars of heaven.
Some places it seem like there were
local "gods" that took the name of the creator god,
like Viracocha
of South America (also called Wiracocha, Apu Qun Tiqsi Wiraqutra,
Con-Tici and other names). He was the creator god of the pre-Inca
in the Andes region; he created the universe, sun, moon, stars
and civilization itself. But he was also a "god"
that suddenly turned up , made an strong impression on the
local people - and left. Yes, this tall departing god seems
to be the same as the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl and the Maya
god Kukulkan. And also Gucumatz in Central America, Votan
in Palenque, and Zamna in Izamal: A tall, bearded god with
white skin and blue eyes. Might be this "Feathered
Serpent" even travelled out to the Pacific Islands
- might be he was the forefather of the very tall, white kings
of Tonga?
A myth of the Zuni Indians of New Mexico
is interesting and a bit different (but also simular) to creation
myths so many places. Awonawilona
was their creator of the world - a divine spirit that did
not take the shape of a human because he existed before everything
else. After creating the universe Awonawilona became the sun
and made the 'mother-earth' and 'father-sky', from where all
living creatures came - born in four caves deep in the earth.
Who created God?
The God of the Christian faith created the universe and then
the humans but who created God? The question might seems to
be a valid one but Christian scholars say that the question
is irrelevant; that God always has existed - and points to
Genesis
1:1:" In the beginning, God created the heavens
and the earth." That God has no
need to have been created; that God exists either
outside time or within multiple dimensions of time.
Well, it is not possible to see something
that has not been created or exist in "multiple dimensions
of time" (whatever that is). So it is not possible to
see the God that created everything: you just have to believe
that he is there - sometime, somewhere, somehow.
Many ancient cultures of the world say that the
universe was created by a Great
Spirit (like Indian tribes of North America), and
you will kind of find the same in the in Genesis
1:1-2: "And the Spirit of God was hovering over
the face of the waters."
The god of the Christian faith that
created the humans was, as we have seen, one of many gods
- the Elohim. And yes, they were indeed ancient giants!
Hidden history
As I started this article; I am more concerned about the most
distant past of the human history than the creation of the
universe, because it seems like we have a hidden history.
A hidden history that I believe that we need to know more
about. Yes, Thor Heyerdahl said it like this: "To say
something about the future you must know the past".'
In the seventeenth and eighteen century
it was believed that the Earth in the past had been shaped
by sudden and violent catastrophes, among them the flood of
the Bible. But later this theory of catastrophism
was replaced by uniformitarism:
The theory that changes in the earth's crust during geological
history have resulted from the action of continuous and uniform
processes.
Thor Heyerdahl asked me on the phone
not long before he died in 2002 if we humans could have gone
under to almost the last person one or several times in a
for us unknown pre-history. He was afraid we might be doing
the same mistake again by our of fossils fuels, he had seen
serious climate changes all over the world.
Well, to me it seems that is does
not have to be a controversy between catastrophism and uniformitarism.
The Earth can have been shaped by the same slow process that
we see today with slowly moving tectonic plates and slowly
rising mountains but we can also have had gigantic catastrophes!
Solar storms can have created rapidly melting icesheets creating
hundreds of meters tall tsunamis, large comets can have hit
the land and sea and caused Armageddon, large volcanoes can
have erupted spewing enormous amounts of CO2 in the atmosphere
creating disastrous temperature rises.
Extinct species
Legends of ancient civilisations around the world tell about
cycles of time; that humans, often helped by gods/deities,
built advanced cultures that suddenly disappeared because
of world wide catastrophes.
There are several hundred flood
myths all over the world - all very simular. We are
getting more and more proof that we have had enormous catastrophes
on our planet. Resent DNA researches are showing that humans
have been moving around the world, across land and sea, -
much further and at much earlier times than earlier believed.
We have bones after humans that must have been called giants
in their time, yes - we even have mummies of very tall people.
All over the world there are megaliths that it should be impossible
to make at the time in history the mainstream scientists say
they were made; some that we should have trouble making today
with modern tools.
A
major problem when it comes to our distant past is that it
is very hard for the pantologists, archaeologists and other
scientists to see the big picture; they are all so specialised
in their own field. But is it not about time to make an effort
to uncover humanity’s hidden past? Should it not be possible
to compare the ancient legends and religious scripts, and
then to see how they fit inn with the ancient artefacts, megaliths
and human remains that we have?
Is it not about time we do this before
we, might be for the fifth time, underestimate the Earth's
fragile ecology and make Homo sapiens sapiens an extinct species?

Be it known that in
the J documents which predate the E documents,
Yahweh's name was used exclusively as the creator's
name. In it, (the
J documents), the supreme Creator was never defined
as a god at all.
The name Yahweh was removed later from the text and
replaced with the
names of the gods, El, Adoni, Baal and adopted by the
northern kingdom
of Yisrayl....this is the sourse of the E documents.
My suspicion is
that Yahweh is the Creator, but the Anunnaki and those
who chose to
follow their leadership subverted His name and wrested
the scriptures
to deceive mankind into worshiping them instead of Yahweh.
It is also
my suspicion that the Anunnaki did in fact create humans
in their
likeness, but that also Yahweh created THEM, and may
have also created
man from the dust of the ground by His own power along
side of humans
already in existance via the Anunnaki. So when Cain
slew Able, he fled
to the land of Nod and found a wife (created by Anunnaki)...thus
the
division of Yahweh's line of created human decendancy,
and that of the
Anunnaki. Also...the J documents do NOT contain the
first chapter of
Genisus...it was added later in the E documents. As
for the flood, I
suspect there were multiple arks...one for Noah and
his family from
Yahweh's line of human creation, and one for the Anunnaki...perhaps
others as well.

All you claim has plausibility. I don't agree with your
millions of years time set time line because I do not
have faith in the aging techniques used. I do believe
you want truth. Now hear is my truth as I see it. The
creator made man perfect. Intelligent, physical and
all. That would mean extreme intellect . What we today
would call superhuman physical prowess. Life spans of
hundreds of years. Man wanted to be like the creator.
The Angels ( another species of the creator) of rebellion
, the fallen angels mentioned by the Hebrews and possibly
others, wanted to claim the humans to hurt the creator
(Revenge). Humans believed the Angels much to chagrin
of the creator and lost favor in Their sight. They were
cursed with separation from the nourishing favor of
the creators. They got disease and degenerate genes
shortening life span. They were filled with hate, jealousies,
envy, ect. All things detrimental to a long enjoyable
existence and cohabitation. So yes at first they were
genius and could make and do many things we can't today.
Fly, build ,creat and mental abilities we only dream
of. Fallen angels were pleased with human women and
procreated with them.( Giants and other odd species
) They became to numerous and were taking over as dominate
intelligence species and the creators were infuriated.
The flood destroyed corrupted blood lines of man. Pure
blood humans were preserved along with animals. Some
of the angel human breads survived the deluge.
Every thing I have stated fits with the evidence you
have submitted except the long past time lines. Your
evidence is my evidence just a different perspective.

There is no doubt whatsoever that there was a global
civilization that existed in prehistoric times...the
evidence for this is overwhelming, yet deliberately
surpressed by the powers in control...this civilization
was very advanced...and was created by a race of beings
and their offspring that are spoken of in the Bible
book of Genesis...their world was totally eradicated
by a catastrophic global deluge...your efforts are commendable...yet
you will never get your findings to the general public...the
entire system today...especially the news media...is
carefully controlled...only data that supports the game
plan of the powers that be is permitted for widespread
release...however, I would encourage you to look into
the Bible as a historical source of accurate information...it
would provide you with the framework to understand the
context of your field of study and to put it into proper
perspective...the truth about ancient history is well
